And DCAMU is DC Animated Movie Universe, which is different from the DCAU in that they're not interconnected.

The DC movies have been very good so far for the most part. I didnt really care for Gotham Knights and Green Lantern. But the rest have by far outdone marvel's animated movies.

Young Justice has just been stupid to me. The characters are largely annoying, the whole stealth/black ops thing is incredibly irresponsible of the JL to put on teenagers, and, while they are making decent progress on characterization, the characterizations kind of suck. Superboy is the Hulk. I mean... why?

Still haven't seen Gotham Knights. Some of the animation initially put me off it but I was able to get the collector's edition on the cheap. Haven't watched it yet, though. Green Lantern was decent, but I felt it suffered without delving into the origin. Then there's Doomsday and Brainiac Attacks which just blew on all levels.

I agree, Superboy hasn't been all that great. I guess they felt disgruntled clone was a better alternative to 90s punk rocker, especially since you already have Kid Flash in the clown role. But, to be fair, he hasn't been all that great in the comics either since he lost his 90s identity. But I loves me some Miss Martian.

I like Young Justice but the show hasnt quite got me hooked on it yet like i am with Avengers. There's just...something missing imo. Avengers leaves me salivating at the mouth at the end of each episode making me anticipate the next one anxiously. Young Justice, not so much, but the show's still in its early stages. The chemistry between the characters are well done i must say.

Yeah, she kind of annoys me too. And I hate that idea that each character has to fill only one role. So what if Kid Flash is funny? Part of what made Young Justice the comic so good was the humor, and that came from several of the characters having upbeat, jokey personalities that clashed with each other. But no, for the TV show everyone's gotta be ground down into a neat little formulaic box. Bugs the hell out of me.

Actually haven't read the YJ comic. I have started picking up issues as I find them, though. Mostly in part to filling up my Superboy issues. I avoided DC for most of my collecting career so I'm slowly filling in runs through cons and sales as I become interested in characters or groups. Working in particular on Catwoman and Birds of Prey at the moment, with a little Nightwing. Thinking of adding Wonder Woman next.
