I don't think that look would work ANYWHERE. It looks bleedin' horrid.ProfeZZor X said:That look for Cannonball might work well in Texas, Nevada or Australlia, but not in Los Angeles, California.

I co-sign. I always like seeing new interpretations of the characters, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to go along with it for too long.Sun_Down said:The backstories are pretty interesting, I just think they all look a bit too Euro-trashy. I wouldn't be opposed to maybe reading a mini-series or something about them.

I was considering the art more instead of the ideas.ProfeZZor X said:No....... Not really.![]()
Euro-trash may work as a subculture here in the states, but not as an iconic statement representing these popular characters.... In other words, don't try and reinvent the wheel with cheap and tasteless gimmics. (Not you Ghost113, the artist)

No man, I don't think you understood what I meant. I totally agree with what you're saying.ProfeZZor X said:Even in today's trendy pop culture we call America, these hooligans really wouldn't fit in to the scheme of things.... Could you really see these characters roaming the streets on middle America, or east/west coasts?
And before you bring up the "yellow spandex" debate, remember, those costumes and that society was already established since the begining. Anything thereafter is open to critiscism and interpretation... Although I admire his exercise of free speech on how he views these characters.

But I was saying I'm not being bad on the guy because his art is really good.
Is the guy who did these concepts a professional? I didn't really look around his blog much.ProfeZZor X said:I'll agree with you too on his artwork. Although I've seen better.
Lactose said:Yes! Anyway, every decade should have it's own comic-book X-men. Do we want the movie X-Men to take over our beloved heroes?
I've been reading X-Men since I was knee high to a Jawa, and they need a kick up the jacksie every so often just to keep 'em fresh.
These look sweet dude. It's X-Men, with a dash of Morlocks...
