This little question has been swimming around in my head for quire awhile so I've decided to start this thread in several of the message boards I frequent. Anyways, I was just wondering, do you find that after awhile you get bored of the submissive types and would rather prefer a woman who is strong willed and is a challenge to you in certain aspects?

Challenge me how? I don't want a woman who will disagree/argue with me just for the sake of being "strong willed". But you're right, def don't want a servant-girl either. My ideal woman is one who has no problem approaching men if she finds them attractive(all my g/fs have come to me, no hunting required lol) and who can hold her ground in an argument with men.

The same goes for intimate scenarios as well. I enjoy a submissive partner during "sexy-time" but I don't mind being told what to do sometimes(no whips, chains, or ball gags though)

Well, considering I'm a women I have to disagree with closing an informative thread for myself.

That said I've been a very independent person ever since I can remember. I have a tough, strong will because this is what I must have to get through life. I often find myself having thoughts that guys are not particularly fond of women like myself because I'm not 100% compliant to their will. I do have a hard time compromising because I'm sick and tired of going by everybody's rules.

Well, I have my 9 year old nephew here, but that's about as subservient as I'd get because he can't cook for himself.

No reason you should have to be 100% compliant, that'd make you a servant. Although, I'll admit there are times when us guys wish women would just(and excuse my brute-like bluntness here) "**** and do it!" when we suggest you do something that'll benefit you just as much as us. We're not always in the mood nor have the time to present a powerpoint presentation on why you should so something we say, you just gotta trust us.

Now I'm not speaking on behalf of men who really do want to control their women as I find that disgusting. Only talking about guys like myself who have no desire to order a woman around.

I've always preferred that type. The idea that women want strong, dominant men and that men want weak, submissive women is just a gender system that really doesn't reflect the reality and diversity of personalities across both genders.

I want a strong woman who can take care of herself, not one who needs my help for everything or is insecure. If I need help, I want to know that she could help me. Intelligence and competence are great things.
