Don't knock it till you try it. There is a restaurant in Detroit called Green Dot Stables and one of the burgers on the menu has kimchi and peanut butter on it. Last week I made a burger at home using peanut butter after I thought about the one at that resturant. I didn't have any kimchi, but I did have bacon. Didn't use as much peanut butter as the resturant. Just a thin layer on the bun. Beef + smoked bacon + peanut butter is an unexpectaly good combination.

I want the peanut butter and bacon burger now.

Is this cooking with peanut butter, or like as a topping?

I'll be honest, like I said I've enjoyed peanut sauces in Pan Asian foods from time to time but... A burger? I just feel that feels like it's too... Something. Like, I guess for me I associate peanut flavor with sweetness or sweetened foodstuffs like snacks or desserts.

When I did I did use the Gordon Ramsay method of salting every ingredient down to the bun. Didn't cook with any of it, just a thin layer on a toasted bun. Peanut is sweet on it's own, but I think all the salt and pepper, plus the smokey flavor of the bacon would take away any sweetness from the peanut butter.

What you got for cooking with alcoholic beverages, wine, beer, spirits, etc.? Any good tips and tricks?

I don't have much experience using alcohol for savory stuff. But one tip would be to reduce it down to intensify the flavor. Guinness brownies are really good.

That I couild see. Brownies have a very thick chocolate flavor that I could see going well with the heavy taste of Guinness.

A man with so much obvious talent?

Yes. He's admirably built his career around chasing one goal... Fattening his resume'.

You heathens may as well ask for the sun not to rise or for the elephant not to charge his tusk, in the misty mist, or the dusky dusk. You may as well ask a muskrat not to guard his musk.

You might as well ask what's next to the moon?

Anyway... Here's AC/DC:

We doing synth heavy music with female lead singers walking around the streets at night?
