The special effects don't bother me so much, but I also have to admit they do look like crap most of the time, specifically the sets. The Wraith, Maleficent (in dragon form and that one other creature thing), and the Rabbit in Wonderland have all been pretty good. You could even pass them for effects in a big budget film.

I knew that reveal was coming with how rather heavy handed it's been hinted at over the season, but I still thought it was good. And it's not like it's a case of one character taking over as another again, but just that the origins of the character are completely different in this take on it, is all.

I'm just not a fan of this take on the character. Sure it was a good (bad for me) surprise but it isn't how I wanted the character to be played out.

I just find it kinda lame but whatever. It makes sense I suppose. I'm more annoyed that didn't end the storyline tonight and that this thing just keeps going and going. They say its gonna end in a couple weeks but I'm not holding my breathe at this point. Okay episode though .

I don't see them ending the neverland story till midseason finale In episode 11.

Making this into one huge family affair/trip, no me gusta. I figured Pan would end up related to Rumple somehow but I was hoping and praying that wouldn't be the fact and that he wouldn't turn out to be just a regular villain. Only good thing that came out of it is that we had a villain that didn't turn bad because of some lame sob story, he was just truly evil.

I really liked the reveal because up until[BLACKOUT]Rumple and his father used the bean I was thinking Pan would be a friend of Rumple's that took the trip with them. I liked the full circle quality of it all. Rumple did what his father did to him to Neal, and now he had a chance to set things right for his boy. To bad his old man is holding all the cards. I also liked how Rumple's dad was cast. The actor did a great job of showing where Rumple's impish mannerisms come from.[/BLACKOUT]

As for our boy Henry... Oh Henry... I love ya... Sweet kid, but not too bright.

Henry's decision was dumb, but I loved the backstory bit. I didn't find it heavy-handed throughout the season at all. We knew they had backstory, but [blackout]Pan being Rumple's father?[/blackout] I assumed they were friends, maybe brothers, but not this...

And so we have the Queen of Hearts as Reginas mother, Peter Pan as Rumples father...what next? Rapunzel as Regina or Rumples grandmother or long lost sister?
