Whine whine whine, that's all I ever hear from you people. :o

Henry's decision was dumb, but I loved the backstory bit. I didn't find it heavy-handed throughout the season at all. We knew they had backstory, but [blackout]Pan being Rumple's father?[/blackout] I assumed they were friends, maybe brothers, but not this...

Agreed. It never occurred to me until half way through the episode. They left clues, but they were not hit you over the head style. Great episode, I think.

I will say this, though, I didn't think the casting of Rumple's father was all that well done, when all was said and done with the episode and the reveal. [blackout]Pan[/blackout] seems so much more intelligent and sinister than Rumple's father did.

Well he had 100 years to become intelligent and sinister. Not being able to fly when you are old with Frak you up.

And I really want someone to rob Henry of his child hood and age him up to his early 20s, history somewhat repeating itself.

I thought the episode was alright. So far the season has been disappointing compared to the first two. The idea of the cast heading off to Neverland to fight Peter Pan is awesome, it just hasn't been executed properly imo. They have really solid actors and great material to work with, but for the most part they've been walking in circles. There's been some great moments and episodes though, so I'm not entirely disappointed.

Right at the end I was salivating at the thought of Regina and Emma coming up behind Pan and slapping the **** out of him. Damn, I'm really hoping they get the chance to dig their nails into his face.

The Pan/Rumple reveal was played out well I think. It wasn't an OMG! moment, but it did take me by surprise.

I haven't seen the latest episode yet but this season isn't really good. I thought the idea of the cast heading off to Neverland is going to make this show better and season 3 would end up better than season 2. But thats not the case at all. Every episode deals with a family issue, someone is always expressing their feelings, the flashbacks aren't really that interesting and its getting repetitive and then there's the love triangle between Neal/Emma/Hook. I also don't find Peter Pan a good villain at all, he's quite irritating. I'm seriously getting tired of Neverland and I can't wait for them to go back to Storybrooke.

The only thing that I really liked about this season is they introduced Ariel.

I also thought Manson's voice over seemed a bit phoned-in.

Though, after his Talking Dead appearance, that doesn't really surprise me.

I just thought the episode was okay...sorry for those who may have loved it, but that's how I felt. I did think though young rumple and father did good acting jobs. I could believe that's what Rumple's father would have been like given the kind of man Rumple grew up to be. Young Rumple reminded me so much of Carlyle.

I just loved the way the actor who played Rumple's dad did a good job in his mimicry of Carlyle. When I see Rumple in imp mode now I'm going to think of his dad. It's like he thought "Hey, who was the biggest *****ebag in my life? I'll act like him when I'm messing with people."

I mean, the father wasn't bad and he had alot of Carlyle similarities there, but I just don't really buy the connect between the two portrayals of the character, young and old.

I liked this episode it did a very good job of showing Pan and Rumples history the actors were good as well. And its nice to see Henry unconscious I just wish they'd kill the little brat though as I am not a fan.

Next one is Regina centric and by that trailer she saves the day!!! Yes!!!!

OH hell I didn't see that twist coming..wow

I like Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. What I don't like is that Cyrus hasn't sung Friend like Me from Disney's Aladdin yet to Jafar, Red Queen, or Alice.

considering its a ABC a family network it shouldn't really be surprising rumple's
dad is peter pan. Everyone seems to be related or have a relationship with each other. The show is basically a fairy tale family drama soap opera.

The kid playing young rumple did a weak Scottish accent. It sounded like to had a mouth full of marbles sometimes.

I really liked the episode on the whole. I knew Henry was going to it.

They have taken "family show" to a whole new level.

Okay, **** it. Forget the entire #SaveHenry thing. Just free Rumple, get the hell out of Neverland and let Henry die. He has to be the dumbest kid ever. He never believed Pan, but now he chooses to believe him over his own parents? What the actual ****ing hell is the matter with that kid?

Oh and it doesn't help that the actor playing him is already annoying to begin with.

I was very surprised with the twist of this episode, though. I knew something was going on between Rumple and Pan, but never suspected... THAT! Anyway, I'm not sure how I feel about it. I would've preferred they had done something different.

Henry let Wendy **** with his head. Puberty is getting the best of him. :o

Pan: Rumplestilkin never told you about your grandfather?

Neal: He told me enough. He told me you killed him!

Pan: No, I am your grandfather.

Neal: No, no! That's not true! That's impossible!

What if Peter Pan was responsible for the fairytale storybook? He would definitely have means & motive, he knew about Henry centuries before Henry was ever born, so maybe Peter Pan created the fairytale storybook & enchanted it to find the heart of the truest believer which led him to Henry.

I really, really do not understand some of the complaints going on around here, especially the stuff about "they talk too much about family and their feelings." Um, HELLO. The family interactions between these characters is what made this show stand out back in the first season and made people fall in love with them. This kind of stuff is what makes these characters grow and evolve and allow the viewers into their minds and get to know them, and make them stand out from all the other two dimensional characters on other shows that are so flat and bland.

Neverland has been a breath of fresh air this season. After the cluster**** that the second half of season 2 was last year, the fact that they sat down and streamlined the storytelling into what it is instead of trying to shoehorn characters in when they aren't needed, instead introducing only a few new ones and actually developing them, and having filler episodes that do nothing but detract from the main storyline, people should be bowing down and thanking them for doing this. They have a proper plan laid out and are following it like they wanted instead of trying to do too much and this is a good omen for the show going into the future.

Pan has been a great villain for the season too. He's supposed to be irritating and annoying because you're not supposed to like him. But you can recognize that he's a fully realized villain as well. He's cold and conniving and has excelled at manipulating the various characters on the show in order to get what he wants, and it worked as well. Some of the best plots put the villain in a position where it looks like they will triumph, and makes the stakes actually look like they will mean something rather than just have the good guys always come out on top right away with no real build up. Sure, Henry has been written pretty stupidly this year, but it's shown real villainy with how Pan has gone about it using people like Wendy and her family to get what he wants. But one thing I think a lot of people have missed, is just how his actions have really echoed through this show. With this episode, we've learned that because of Pan, pretty much all of the storylines within this show are a result of him. Think about it. Because he was such a horrible person and abandoned his son, Rumple grew up to become a horrible father in his own right, causing him to become the Dark One and abandon Bae, which lead to him creating the curse, Regina enacting it, and Emma coming to Storybrooke. Yes, there are arguments to be made about Rumple not trying to overcome the cowardice he inherited from his father or Regina refusing to let go of her pathetic hatred of Snow, and they certainly share their part in the blame of how everything happened, but it can all be traced back to Pan's actions in the flashback in this episode. In a way, it has brought a lot of things from all the way back in the first season full circle, and that shows some real creativity and forethought by the writers.

I didn't see that twist coming. It was a good one! Next week's episode should be good. Always wondered how Henry ended up with Regina.

Also didnt see the twist coming.

Loved how Rumple's father had the same giggle fits that he does lol

I REALLY hope we get another look at the "Universal Monsters" realm, rewatched the Frankenstein episode today and it is EASILY my top favorite episode/realm. Loved how his science is just as powerful as their magic
