Also... If neverland is any indication (originally a fantasy location that children only went to in their dreams) then its quite possible a lucky few might see visions of these worlds in their dreams. Like a window to that world is viewed

^Emma has reacted to almost all the characters in a way that lets us know this is "our" world a lot, as far as I can remember. And didn't Charming say his curse memories of David had him learning about Alice In Wonderland in school?

I think a "Psychic" link to the other worlds is a more than easy explanation. I wish we had some kind of explanation by this point in the show though. That's just sticking in my craw a little but it's not a biggie. I am sort of surprised more don't complain about it, but the show has so many balls in the air it gets overlooked I think.

I just think most people understand the fact this is a fantasy show. And trying to explain too much with real world stuff might actually stifle the writing and cause more problems than what its worth.

Most of these characters were unnamed anyway and are based on the names and concepts created in media/Disney... We don't need to tie in both the author of the original and these films together... Mulan the animated film was already referenced, tww is green (and nothing like the book illustration) gothic world is black and white and clearly universal monsters referenced... It just gets messy very quick

We know there's many worlds and people can travel between them, we know some people dream of realms in their sleep (aurora, neverland), and we know other realmed people (or those who have knowledge of other realms) exist outside of storybrooke. I don't think there's one simple answer. And wouldn't be shocked if the show never answered it. And let the viewers piece it all together.

I so desperately wanted to say this on another board but can't because of their rules, so I'm saying it here: there's a certain section of the fandom who are so desperate to cling to their own opinions that they'll twist things from tonight's episode that pretty clearly contradict their opinions and claim that said things support their opinions, which is really quite pathetic.

SwanQueen fans?

SwanQueen fans?

Captain Swan fans.

The fact that Hook's kiss didn't break Regina's false memory spell makes it pretty clear that he's not Emma's True Love (even while this whole 'triangle' thing is still going on), but I've seen CS shippers acting like and claiming that the exact opposite is true.

Hey, so is this show good? I know that's probably a silly question to ask to those who participate in the forums of the show but I'm thinking about watching what's on Netflix. The whole fairy tale type storyline seems like its right up my alley since I love like Disney/Pixar stuff. But I don't know if I've ever really watched a show like this before, is there any other popular or known shows it could be compared to in terms of plots or characters or just general similarities? Also, is the show more so aimed for females? Because that's whom I usually see talking about it from the people I know personally

Thanks!

It is like a fairytale version of LOST. Yes it is mostly aimed towards females but most Disney stuff is. The first season was really good. S2/3 (imo) are ok at best. If you are fine with them changing up fairytales then you probably wont mind it as much. And if you do watch it, don't be prepared for any movie cgi effects, it is a tv show and it shows.

I am a dude. And I LOVE this show. I am also not much of a Disney fan. I've seen many a Disney animated film and grew up loving Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, though my family was more a Looney Tunes crowd. Still I really enjoy the show and the actors. Actually now might be a good time to get into the show given how things look to change give the events of the mid winter finale.

Great thanks, fairytale version of Lost sounds interesting. And I don't think I'll have any problems with the stories being different or bad cgi or bad acting or whatever, that stuff doesn't bother me. I know Claire from Lost is in the show at some point and I LOVED her in Lost so I'm excited for that lol. I'll probably start sometime in the next day or so, I've just started American Horror Story as well and need to finish Orange is the New Black so I've got some TV rotating to do. Especially since AoS and Arrow are on break haha.

Good frakkin eye there milos. (Of course you would notice someone else wearing Regina's clothes.)

Hmm... Well maybe the tables are turned this time? Maybe TWWoTW is the one who is impersonating The Evil Queen?

I hope so because that is awfully cheap of Once to reuse someone elses outift.

Awfully cheap is the name of the game for network TV these days, even when it comes to "hit" shows.

That being said, I think what I posted before is what's up. Seeing how much change happened this last episode I think the show is entering a "turning expectations on it's ear" phase.

And with Pan gone I'm out. I was only watching this show to see Peter Pan and was not pleased with how they portrayed him the whole time. The actor for him was great I just think they could have done better than making him the villain. I also think they should have showed his relationship with Tink.

Id agree, but then again Regina has a ridiculous amount of costumes.. So only a Regina obsessed fan would have really noticed. Im fine with it

^^ And the "boy" was his undoing... RUMPLEEEEEEE!!!

:waa:

Nah, he should be back, he's the best character IMO, they need him. :D

Didn't like how they handle Peter Pan either, he should've been a more morally ambiguous character, they turned him into a complete sociopath instead of struggling more with his dark side, oh well... I will still watch the rest of the season, I'm intrigued to see how they will break this curse and how Rumple returns (if he does).

Regarding the freaking shippers, Emma still loves Neal, but is not ready yet to give it another shot, their "happy ending" I guess will be them reuniting, and Hook likes Tink too, I don't think is a coincidence the sexual tension between them. Is a pity the producers are using these stupid triangles, the ratings are not higher, so is just a waste of time.

I wanted to point something out: Pan's Curse never hit.

Everything that happened at the end of last night's episode was caused by or in response to Regina STOPPING said Curse.

Cora showed that throughout all last season, and Carlyle's been doing that stuff since day 1.
Carlyle is boss.

Everyone in Britain has been terrified of Robert Carlyle since the mid-90s. Seeing Carlyle murder Christopher Eccleston in Cracker and play crazy violent lunatic Begbie in in Trainspotting.

I say have the new bad guy kill Regina. That way Emma has 2 step up. In terms of using magic etc

So much for the curse coming from all sides and no escape. lol @ Leroy.

Someone remind me how Red's wolf story goes. Was it passed down to her from Granny? Is that how Granny was able to sniff out Henry?

I hope that wasn't the end of [BLACKOUT]Rumple[/BLACKOUT]. Loved his final moment if that's the case. "I'm a villain. Villains don't get happy endings." :word:

Rubys family are werewolves, her mother was head Wolf.

I hope when we see Rumple next, that he is no longer the "Dark One" and that it goes to a new character.

^

I was thinking about Rumple no longer being the dark one, finally getting a happy ending. But he does love magic that's his weakness.
