ABC's Once Upon a Time - Part 7

With Emma being the savior and having white magic, you would think that it would have a certain damper when it comes to The Dark One trying to take her over. Hopefully they deal with that properly. But they better not end this storyline with Rumple taking it over again.

I kind of hope we actually get to see previous authors at some point. Seeing them actually cast an actor to play Walt Disney would be gold.

Also really looking forward to the first half of the new season. Provided they keep the 11/11 split, the midseason finale will fall on the show's 100th episode, so that should be pretty great.

So, fell behind on this after the Ursula episode and spent most of today catching up. So glad it got back to being solid after that really bad Ursula episode.

Nice little reference with Isaac becoming the new writer in December 1966 and the line about the last one recently passing away, of course Walt Disney died in December 1966. I liked that it wasn't just one episode previously. :yay: Didn't see anyone mention that yet.

And between when I typed this while watching so I didn't forget and now posting it, seems Sawyer beat me to it. :argh: :o

It was ok, better then S3s finale, but it kind of reminded me of an alternate finale to that one. Instead of traveling back in time, we went to an alternate reality where half the people switched roles. Majority goes back to normal, but the darkness was cool. Though I hope we don't spend a season with them searching for the Sorcerer when we just spent a season searching for the Author.

Maleficent just disappeared into Storybrooke like half the characters and Lily just met her mom and now she is already wanting to find her dad, hopefully she and Mal get more screen time together.

I was getting a lot of flashbacks to that, but I agree this was a better episode.

Can somebody with Photoshop skills make a manip of The Dark Swan with the glittery and scaly skin, please?

Emma got attacked by magic venom ;)

Brian Blessed for Merlin. I would kill to see Blessed chew scenery on this show

I actually wouldn't mind if they got Sam Neil back as Merlin.

Just slightly. It might as well be the frozen version of S3s cover.

Which makes it infinitely more appropriate for the season than using a season 1 image for the third season of the show.

I am kinda iffy about the bluray cover for Season 4, someone can easily get confused and think it is the bluray cover for Frozen, so they will buy it for their kids instead of the actual Frozen bluray.

as much as ABC would love for that to happen....... you'd be a complete idiot to buy anything thinking it was "frozen" simply because there's ice on the cover...

that being said... they still kinda are "buying frozen" considering it's practically a direct sequel

but yeah.. if it said all big "Ice Queen" or "storybrook has FROZEN OVER" then yeah i could see people getting confused.. but those words arn't on it

I'm kind of hoping that Rumple's story next season is that [blackout]getting rid of the darkness reverts his memory back to who he was as a man before he ever became the Dark One, and he has to grapple with all the things that Dark One Rumple did over the years (saving his son but also driving him away for centuries, killing his wife, Baelfire getting killed as a result of his action, generally making everyone's life worse for his own benefit, having a wife he doesn't even recognize and knowing that his actions made her drive him away, etc.)[/blackout]. I think that would be good material for Carlyle.

Damn, that finale was awesome.

What I loved about the finale...

Regina, how vulnerable she was and how close she is with SW and Emma in personality when the roles are switched.

Emma, great acting on Jennifer. The ending really did take me back to SM3.

Henry, it was good to see Jared have more of a bigger role. Normally he's the one that gets caught in the fire and always has to be saved (which is what Issac said). I loved how cool he go the more he fought with the author.

Killian, just adored Hook's selflessness. He is supposed to be a villain but turned out to be the polar opposite. His death scene was so emotional.

Robin and Zelena, they were good plot points to Regina's ultimate sacrifice. I laughed when Zelena just left in a huff.

Snow and Charming, I actually liked seeing OOC for the Charmings. Though I still found Snow's face a bit sweet looking when she tried to look and sound evil. It was still fun to see her have fun with being evil and for Charming/David to sword fight again.

Rumple and Belle, first of all, I still feel for Rumple despite what he's put everyone through. I'm kind of torn between how he really feels about Belle and where he stands with Baefire, he's a coward and I feel sorry for that part, otherwise, his black heart is a result of all he's done. I felt bad for him when he was "dying" in front of Belle. When he was telling her to go be with Will it made it official. I actually didn't know if he was playing tricks to lure Belle in or if it was actually happening. I'm glad Belle didn't leave him.

You know, I've always thought Ginnifer Goodwin was attractive, but it wasn't until they did close-ups of her face in last night's finale that I thought "wow, she's really gorgeous".

Post-pregnancy body and Mary Margaret wardrobe hasn't been doing her any favors, but she looked good in the Evil Queen get-up.

I kept wondering where Maleficent was the whole time.
