ABC's Once Upon a Time

Best pilot of the season, as far as I'm concerned.

And is anyone else thinking the Sheriff was the wolf?

Well, I wouldn't go that far. American Horror Story is the only new show that has really grabbed me from the start. But, I'm really interested in this concept, plus it has the Lost writers, so I will stick with it.

And yes, considering the way the sheriff's beard looked, I'm thinking he's the wolf as well.

It probably does help, though, that ABC is Disney, so they can use some of the Disney portrayals of those characters (Jiminy Cricket, Malificent, etc.)

Yes, this is true, since those are Disney names/interpretations of the characters.

Cant believe they made Mal look so weak next to the evil witch

How come I get the feel that Mr. Gold/Rumpelstiltskin and possibly Charming might be invulnerable to the curse cause Rumpy (my nickname for him) made the curse (maybe) or had some unique clause in the curse. For Charming he's been in a coma since the change so it may not have effect him.

What do you think?

I dont think so since he is going to be waking up. Though it would be interesting.

Rumplestiltskin is just ****ing awesome.

The queen still knows more than she is letting on. She definitely remembered her father or she wouldn't have named Henry after him.

I saw the pilote which was fine.
I was pleased to see the actress from House as lead role and Carlyle was a nice surprise.
Between this and Grimm ( which feels like a deja vu ) I think I will like OUaT more.

I actually think he's the sheriff of Nottingham from Robin Hood ,but that was based on there being this british sheriff in town . Plus Disney did do a Robin Hood film, but the wolf would be interesting .

There is also the big bad wolf from 3 little pigs & the wolf from little red riding hood that he could possibly be. Why does he have to be based on a fairytale villain? He seems like a good guy just a little misguided by the queen/mayor. Some have speculated that he orginally was the huntsman from snow white or the woodsman from little red riding hood so he wouldn't have been able to shapeshift anyways.

I think he could be any number of people though Nottingham is who i'm sticking to now even if he's got a thing for Jennifer Morrison...though i don't think you have to be a good guy to be misguided by the queen just...a male:cwink::hrt:.

Emma and the Sheriff are obviously going to hook up at some point. Mostly because he's the only male character in her age range that isn't her father..... God, that sounds weird.

And in Disney's animated Robin Hood, what was the Sheriff of Nottingham?

A wolf. :cwink:

Does Robin Hood really fall into Fairy Tale territory, though?

This show rocks.

I really like the transitions from real world to fairy tale world. Theyre smooth.

Im really interested to see why the Evil Queen blames Snow White for the death of her true love. I might be wrong, but I have a feeling Rumplestiltsking may have played a part. All part of his plan to destroy the fairy tale world.

The magic battle between the Evil Queen and Malificent was pretty cool.

Just watched the 1st two episodes from this show. While it does have a few moments that are just too-cheesy for me (the horribly CGI-ed Evil Queen vs. Maleficent battle comes to mind), I'm definitely gonna keep up with it for a while. The writing is certainly intriguing enough.

And that Sheriff better be the Huntsman from Snow White. Makes more sense than the Big Bad Wolf, imo.

I think the sheriff is the wolf given how he checked out Red Riding Hood in one quick scene.
