So no one has mentioned that the guy carrying the soccer balls at the school/ the guy who found her car was Fredrick?

I guess not. I had a feeling that would be him after the camera lingered on him after bumping into Kathryn.

Did August find the book and repair it?

I think I missed the beginning of the scene with him and the book.

I think he took the book apart, removed a few of the pages and then put it back together without them.

I don't understand the whole "can't leave the town thing". It's obvious that they can communicate with people outside of the town. How is that possible since they just appeared in our reality one day? How are the Storybrooke people prevented from leaving town? Can other people besides Emma and August enter the town? Where do people from Storybrooke go when they go "out of town"?

What's hard to understand? The curse makes it so they can't physically try to leave town without something happening to stop them. Kathryn's car crashed, Emma's stalled when she tried to take Hansel and Gretel out, Cinderella went into labor, etc. The curse also clouds their minds into not realizing it, the same way it stops them from realizing that so much time has passed since they came their without any of them physically aging, aside from maybe Henry. It also clouds the minds of other people outside of town to not think there's anything funny going on with it either. Like Henry said, no one else comes to the town either because of the curse, aside from Emma, because she's their savior and the daughter of Snow and Charming. August's is still a mystery at this point.

I read somewhere that the technique he was doing was actually making a copy of the book somehow.

Dang, I missed all those. My stupid DVR cuts off about 4 minutes from the end from this show so I miss the ending most of the time.

Thanks for the information.

I thought he was restoring the pages that was torn out & burned earlier in the season. Henry & Emma said those pages were to important for anyone to see. So I thought he was restoring those pages ?

Hope we get the Headless Horseman next season or would he fit into this show?

the headless horseman is too modern I think, which sounds weird considering it's such an old story, but in relation to the other fairy tales it's relatively new.

Does it really matter how new a story is? I'm sure they can bend the rules a little to have things like The Headless Horseman and King Arthur which I wouldn't really class as fairy tales. They do have King Midas and I wouldn't class his story as a fairy tail either.

oooh....interesting. I didn't think of that...it makes sense if he wants to keep his identity a secret.

I've kind of stopped caring about Prince Charming/Snow White. The back and forth between Mary and David is getting to be too much. I'm most interested in the storyline with August. They will definitely stretch it out to the end of the season. I think we should get some more flash back episodes of Regina. I know they want us to feel bad for her because she lost her "love" and apparently Snow White is to blame but they are definitely making it hard for me to sympathize. She needs to be more well rounded like Mr. Gold.

well, it's kind of important to the story. If they re-fall in love and kiss the show is kind of over... =D

Who are you talking about? Mary and David? Because they've kissed each other many times and I think they've told each other they're in love with one another before. At this rate, I think Mary may snap out of it and remember everything if she sees Emma in mortal danger. Emma is Mary's daughter after all and if she's her life in jeopardy then mayber her inner mama grizzly will come out.

Hopefully David & Mary Margaret will remember who they were/used to be before the season is over but I don't expect a magical kiss will resolve the whole curse. Emma should just get a DNA test done on herself & Mary Margaret, she has the perfect opportunity with her being sheriff & all but then Regina would probably find out & tamper with it.

How has a town of hundreds if not thousands never realized for how ever many years that no one can leave Storybrooke? How do they get supplies like gas and food if no one new ever visits town? How can they be connected to the Internet or have cell phones?

Their whole lives were like a fog for the 28 years before Emma came to Storybrooke, so I just assume that none of them ever asked those sorts of questions.

I think this could have worked better if it were like Groundhog's Day with Gold, Regina, Emma, and Henry immune. That could have been the first season and Emma breaking that at the end of the first season but not the reality curse that put them there. Have Storybrooke be in a mountain or forest only accessible by one road or bridge that is washed out by rain or whatever. No Internet or cell phones work there and it isn't on any map.

Right now it just feels like a sophomoric attempt at a mystery. Nothing seems life threatening or dire in the real world. We know Emma will eventually succeed. The biggest selling point of this show is seeing how they will adapt fairy tale characters. 5 or 6+ seasons can't be sustained on that. Plus it's pretty much defacto hot girl or main character adaption.

Your over thinking it plain and simple because anytime magic is involved there is never a need for a logical reason ever!!

Nice.

I'm pleasantly surprised they didn't just give it to Carlyle. Kinda would've fit. I wonder who else from Wonderland we'll be seeing, aside from Hatter and the Caterpillar, if any.

So we have King Midas and Alice in Wonderland... Those aren't fairytails so I'm sure if they wanted to they could do a Headless Horseman story too.

Benedict Cumberbatch needs to be in the show at least one episode. Maybe as the Sorcerer Yen Sid from Fantasia. Just a wishful thinking :D

Well if you think about it Disney did do a Legend of Sleepy Hollow Cartoon so they could add the Headless Horseman and Icabod Crane in there if they wanted to.
