What did they look like? Im pretty much only familiar with the Turtles from the live action movies, the games and now the new tv show.

Kevin Eastman wasn't the only one to draw the Turtles in comics, some artists gave them more detailed designs

I'm aware..I've just generally never been a fan of the Turtles comic. When it comes to TMNT I really think the new series does it well.. I don't want something OVERLY silly like the original cartoon (although, I still love it I recognize it's faults) but I don't want something super dark and gritty like the comics.

I'd much rather take the Turtles from the first movie (very close to the comic..Yet took it's own liberties to expand the audience) or the Turtles from the new Nick series.

I dont know too much about the Turtles in terms of lore and characterization, but my fav Turtles have always been the live action films. Altho, i love the hell out of that new Nick show.

Admittedly I got into Turtles around 1987, when I was 5, with the debut of the original cartoon. From there I've pretty much followed everything Turtles...Even the comics. I don't hate the comics, some I actually quite enjoy, I honestly just like the Turtles better when they're not "super dark" but at the same time I don't want them to be ridiculously kiddy friendly either (which is why I like the new show so much.)

It's also why the original Live Action movie is still one of my top five favorite films of all time. It's mature..yet..it's so broad that my son can watch it and enjoy it.

I know people are worried about what Bay is going to do with them in the new movie franchise, but something about him gobbling up stuff from the Cartoon makes me giddy..yet at the same time I wish he'd lean more towards the current series. Mostly because I hope this new movie isn't all "Mikey's super obsessed with Pizza and can't form a rational thought."

I don't really have much of a point other than I prefer these new Turtle designs to anything I've seen lately. They're very much first Live action film mixed with the new series. Didn't mean to get so off topic..While staying on topic... o_0

Yea thats why im diggin the look of these turtles as well. Its like a mix between the live action and new show, which just happens to be my 2 fav versions of the turtles

There's SO many nods to the comics, movies and shows in the few gameplay videos I've watched..That I can't wait to see 'em all in the game. I'll probably get this over the new Halo maps...

Seems like a lot of turtle love has gone into this game. I feel like I should be hesitant since it was announced only a little while ago, but it just looks soooooo good.

Has been confirmed or mentioned anywhere if the new Nickelodeon voice actors are in this? When I watch videos it kinda sounds like them but I can't be sure. I really like Sean Astin as Raphael.

Yea the voice actors for the show are doing the voices here. I can't remember where I saw that but I wanna say it was some preview that confirmed their casting.

No they aren't. Recent interview from E3 said they are different actors not the actual ones. Not sure what preview you're talking about.

Yup they are impersonators. Been following this game from day one and the Nick show. Not the same actors and this was confirmed.

That stinks. I thought I had read somewhere it was them but watching the videos it kinda sounded like it wasn't them, but maybe some really good impersonators. I wonder if they just didn't have the time or budget to get the new cast.

I won't say that good, the animation looks a bit laggy, in fighting, but it does look lots of fun

Pretty damn good for a 15 dollar arcade game. I have a feeling that it'snnot gonna be a let down like the Turtles in Time remake was.

They decided to make it 3d and took out all the excitment of the game. Why not just make it 2d, the way we all wanted it

Turtles in Time looked fine, it was bad because it was a boring game updated from a boring game.

Everything.. Levels were omitted, certain bosses done away with.. It was just no where near as good as the original.

Pat, if you hunk TIT (heh) was a boring game.. I.. I really don't know what to say to that. It's only considered one of, if not the best 2D turtle games. I still play it on my SNES today.
