Actors Who Inexplicably Disappeared

Last night I was watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall and wondered what the hell happened with Jason Segel? Haven’t seen him in anything in years

But then earlier today I saw a commercial on AMC for a new series set to debut next year that Jason Segel will star in. So it’s cool to see him again. Still though, wonder what he has been up to since How I Met Your Mother ended

He had END OF THE TOUR which happened after HIMYM, I thought he was excellent in that. Then he disappeared.

It's been a while since I saw Mia Wasikowska in anything. She seemed like quite the up and comer. I wonder if those lackluster Alice in Wonderland films hurt her career.

Considering Alice in Wolderland is one of the highest grossing films of all time, that's probably not the reason.

Maybe it was Crimson Peak that hurt her? That movie was such a waste of time. Charlie Hunnam should have gotten a Razzie for his role in that movie.

He did a few indies. I think he just wanted to chill after HIMYM

She's in the new Mia Hansen-Love film with Tim Roth, which I hope comes out this year.

I'm not sure anything *hurt* Mia, aside from Alice and to a lesser extent Crimson it seems like she's always gravitated towards smaller offbeat things.

She had her lawyers trying to get her out of her contract to ditch Lawless during filming because Shia LaBeouf was so wacked out, apparently.

Mia is still around, just mostly her recent flicks have gone to streaming. That’s where I saw her last few flicks. Also, one check on imdb wouldve told ya this, you lazy bald bastah. :o

"Sir, Krasinski just called, he said he can't make it, scheduling conflict."

"Damn it.....get me Joseph Gordon-Levitt!"

He was apparently also the runner-up for Ant-Man. Honestly I think Paul Rudd is perfect for Ant-Man and maybe better for that role than JGL would have been, but he wouldn't be being discussed in this thread right now if he'd landed a recurring MCU role like that.
I'd still like to see JGL for Reed Richards. I think he was considered for Star-Lord as well

Because I fell down a Twitter rabbit hole today...Matthew Fox. Hasn't been in a film since Bone Tomahawk in 2015 and I completely forgot he existed.

( I love Matthew Fox, I think he's way underrated...)

Always thought that Matthew Fox could have been a great Batman

I forgot that Dominic Monahagen called him a woman beater on Twitter.

Levitt is probably the most successful child actor of the 90s....Hmmm....Maybe Gosling.

In the case of Fox, his struggles with alcoholism and an incident in which he allegedly punched a female bus driver probably hurt his career a lot. It didn’t help that his lost costar Dominic Monaghan made a comment on Twitter that he “beats women.”

Charlie Hunnam deserves a razzie for everything he's in. Dude's awful.

I’ve heard that he’s good in that City of Z movie, and I want to see The Gentlemen. He was pretty good in Cold Mountain. But he was awful in CP and Pacific Rim (maybe del Toro ruins him)? I know Sons of Anarchy has a lot of fans but I could never get into it so I’m not sure how he was in that.

Crimson Peak was the first thing I liked Hunnam in :funny: I didn't even realize it was him at first.

LOL, are you sure it wasn’t just because you felt sympathetic towards the handsome guy who never acted before?
