Does noone else see a young Clint Eastwood as Bat man? Is it just me? Voice , build , attitude imagine a young Clint as Batman in a coversation with Christopher Reeve as Superman. It would have been awesome.

Eastwood would've been great, but Gregory Peck would've been perfect, especially if he was playing alongside Cary Grant as Superman.

Back in the 1980s', Ron Perlman would've made a great Ben Grimm.

And Fox is too short.

Russell is the perfect Nick Fury, though.

Hugh Jackman was too tall to play Logan and he did fine. And Spidey's not a tall guy anyway, so Fox's shortcomings aren't a big deal. Especially since he fits the character to a "T" in everything else.

I'd ideally like to see a Wolverine closer in height to the comic book version. His height is integral to the character. It's part of the reason he's called Wolverine. Wolverines are very short, scruffy animals that make up for their lack of size with their vicious behavior. That's basically Logan in the comics and most other interpretations. Nicholson could've nailed all those aspects. He was only 5'9-5'10 when he was younger, so he had just about everything.

Don't get me wrong, I think Jackman is superb, but he's still too tall. Personally, if they wanted an actor shorter than Jackman to play him, my choice for the 2000 movie would've been Billy Crudup, who's 5'8 and scruffy enough, not to mention a phenomenal actor.

As for Spidey, he's 5'10. That's about average for a man. Michael J. Fox is about 5'3-5'4. You're talking a six to seven inch height difference. I mean, people complained about 5'10 Michael Keaton being shorter than Batman, imagine how they'd feel with a 5'3 Spidey.

Cusack, watch any of his films, and the man is Peter Parker.

Wouldn't Cusack be too tall?

Yeah, I guess he would. He's well over 6', 6'2 1/2 to be exact. I guess height really doesn't matter, at least not for Spidey, though unless it's Wolverine, the idea of a 5'3 superhero does bother me a bit. I guess I just like Cusack for the part better than Fox.

I like Fox as a younger, teenage Spider-Man. Cusack would make a good adult Spider-Man.

I agree.

Another idea I'm gonna throw out:

Michael Beihn for Cyclops in the 1980s'.

is that the guy from Dark Angel?

He was Kyle Reese in The Terminator and Corporal Duane Hicks in Aliens. He wasn't on Dark Angel, which is somewhat surprising since he's been in most of James Cameron's movies.

He's a good actor with the right build, height (6') and persona for Cyclops. I think he would've been great.

Oh,alright. I've only seen his work in Terminator.

You've never seen Aliens.

Anyway, don't want to get off topic. But I must urge you to see it. He's also in Tombstone and The Rock.

I take it you've never seen the first one, either.

Oh,I thought you meant Alien. I mightve seen the second,I really don't remember.

Second one is the one with the marines. It's the best of the series, IMO, though Alien is a masterpiece in its own right.

If you're just looking for people who LOOK and SOUND like these heroes then...dunno about how these would do ACTING in the actual roles though.

Wolverine: Glen Danzig (If Danzing could act...he would be Logan)
Thor: Vladimir Kulich (This guy IS Thor, I swear to god)
Tony Stark/Iron Man: Johnny Depp (He's got the swagger)
Nick Fury: Kurt Russel (DUH Snake from the Escape movies! heh)
Doctor Bruce Banner: Jeffery Combs (From all the wierd HP Lovecraft stuff)
Hawkeye: Michael Biehn (If he shaved his head to a brushcut)
Eddie Brock/Venom: Brian Thompson (The big alien guy from X-Files)
Captain America: I'm drawing a blank now...too tired.

Dunno have to think of some later heh. Those are just some of my "off the cuff" picks that I could think of. Like I said this doesn't take into account acting ability although I DID pick actors and NO WRESTLERS!! NONE!! I think casting stuntmen and wrestlers then expecting them to act is asking WAY WAY too much. Cast actors or unknowns at least with talent. I think using wrestlers as MAIN characters is BAD, as a throw away character it doesn't matter; like the sad display of Sabertooth from the X-Men movie. If it's characters like that it's ok, but as a main character no way in hell!

Course the exception to the actors rule is Glen Danzing. I just think he totally looks like Wolverine. Same height pretty much, Wolvie is 5'3" and Danzig is 5'4". Wolvie is 195lbs of muscle mass so he's a big mofo for his size as is Danzig. I'll post more if I can think of any.

In the 80'sw

Rebecca DeMornay as the White Queen
Clancy Brown as Sabretooth

Thanks.

Witherspoon would work, I think. Good choice.

Another pick:

Kingpin - Telly Savalas
