Sylar was in search of Claire for her ability all throughout season 1. Hell, in a theoretical future he was still after Claire's power. So there is no way Adam and Sylar could co-exist as a team once Sylar discovered what Adam's ability is.

I think it would be cool if Adams was one ability Sylar couldn't take. Then they could work together. Plus I wanna see Adam cutting up some more people with swords.

I don't think Adam would like to work with Sylar. He's way too unpredictable and can not be trusted. Plus Adam is a manipulative person, so is Sylar. I think Adam would know very quickly that working with him wouldn't help him a lot.

I was hoping that Adam would have been able to develop other powers over the 400 Years. I would have loved a Kensai PWNing Sylar match up. And Sylar learning he aint all that.

well with peter no longer with him im sure adam would realize that sylar would be a replacement of comparable power

I'm still confused; did Adam kill Hiro's father out of Revenge for Hiro, or because he was one of those that locked him up..? It seems that Hiro's dad was screwed either way......

I hope he comes back. He's a cool villain and would be a good leader for the 'cadre of villains' tim Kring says we can expect next year.

Both I think. I would mind seeing him go after Ando and Hiro's Sister as well.

Yeah but if he knows about Sylar and his abilities then he knows how he got all those abilities. I don't think he'd want work with someone like that. Also Sylar isn't a teamplayer. The only reason i see him working with Adam is so that he can betray him at one point and steal his healing ability. Adam would be better off recruiting a couple of supervillains.

If Adam can heal faster than Sylar can scalp him, no problem.

As far as Sylar being unpredictable, imagine a Megatron/Starscream dynamic between the two of them.

Why do people want to see Adam and Sylar together? There is no way they can co-exist! Sylar would want to be immortal too and would take his powers right away. Sylar is power hungry! Maya is still on his list people!!! He would love that power. On season 1 he was after Claire which has the same healing powers. It will be better for Adam to find other Villians and for Sylar be on his own. Sort of like the Villians vs. the good guys vs. Sylar. Please no Sylar/Adam duo!

I could see a scenario where Adam manipulates Sylar into doing what he wants.
You know, like he did with Peter- except with a little more common sense this time.

i think sylar and adam would be cool. it would be like in WW II. hitler and mussollini workin together. they hate each other but they need each other. but wait i dont think sylar need adam or adam need sylar or do they?

I think they'll have to have someone being manipulated or turned on... like an amazing stand off between the two most villainous characters on Heroes... can someone say Mexican stand-off

how did hiro put adam in a coffin isnt a coffin to small for two ppl and whenever hiro would teleport someone he need to touch them and i think in a coffin there is no enough space for them not to touch each other. lol

Hiro can always freeze time and Adam be completely frozen solid

For me, Adam = meh.

What, he's a villian because his buddy and his girlfriend hooked up? Wow.

I had no idea that the TV show "Cheaters" had such potential to create epic villians.

YAWN.

They could have written him to show the angst of immortality and how annoyed he is with humans... but they didn't. We're just given the "my girl liked someone better suited to her better than she liked me" as a reason for villiany and 400 YEARS LATER he's developed no further insight!

I hope he stays buried until he can be written as a convincing villian rather than a lonely hearts club drop-out.

Did you pay attention...or no?

He's lived through 400 years of famine, war, etc. And he believes the only way to fix it is to wipe out all of mankind...for their own good.

So no, he didn't become a villain just because 'his buddy and his girlfriend hooked up.'

:whatever:

That's one blurb of dialog.

"Show me don't tell me" = good storytelling

As far as the visceral, evident reasons for his actions... we get jack. They could have SHOWN us these reasons rather than, say, showing Peter wandering on a beach or Claire having existential angst... but they chose to show us those things rather than motivational elements of the central plot's villian.
:whatever: Right back atchya.

I do hope he comes back and manipulates people, him trying to manipulate Sylar sounds like fun and you know Sylar will be after him the second he knows about his power because he has always wanted Claire's and that'd make him indestructible.

I'm sure they're planning on delving into Adam's past and showing the events that shaped his fairly gloomy outlook on life later on. I mean, you can't give away everything about a character right away, especially a villain.

Agreed.

I hope they delve into his past.

My roommate and I had a theory he was actually related to the Petrelli's and Elle's dad, just because Elle and Claire look a lot a like and we assumed they were gonna be related.
