Back to the Future
Asteroids (yes, I know it's actually being made)
Pong
Inception 2
Gone With the Wind
Footloose (I know that, too)
Grease
Risk
Twister

Casablanca, Citizen Kane, Star Wars shouldn't be rebooted but i wouldn't mind if they did adaptations of the games and comics.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing someone else (i.e. Not Lucas) tackle a Star Wars remake sometime down the road.

What about Hot Wheels? Apparently they're making a movie out of that because of Fast and Furious's success.

i'm not against that but i'm too afraid to say it.
:ninja:

What's more sacred, Citizen Kane/Casablanca or Star Wars? Cause if any of those ever get touched nothing is safe.

Citizen Kane/Casablanca.Star Wars pretty much has been rebooted with the prequels,I wouldn't be surprised if Lucas announced a new trilogy eventually.

Personally though I really don't care what gets rebooted or remade. The originals are always there, and hey you never know you could get a great film out of some remakes.

It's hard to believe they won't remake any of these mentioned. I think Back to the Future would be a mistake. It's probably gonna happen at some point , hopefully when I'm too old to care.

An Indiana Jones remake is probably a very bad idea. I don't mid a few more sequels, though.

Also, The Godfather Trilogy.

Adaptations:
Tetris
Connect Four
Pac-Man
Gravity's Rainbow

Remakes/Reboots:
Citizen Kane
Gone With the Wind
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
Apocalypse Now
The Godfather Saga
Raging Bull

Sequels:
Taxi Driver 2
Apocalypse Now 2
Schindler's List 2
Dr. Strangelove 2
Gone With the Wind 2(yes, I know)
2001: A Space Odyssey 2(yes, I know)
Rocky 2 (yes, I know about all of them)

Remakes:
Paranormal Activity
Any classic disney movie
Any classic 80's movie
Stephen King's "It"

Sequels:
Paranormal Activity 3
Saw 8
Teeth 2
Halloween 3 (the Rob Zombie version)
Watchmen 2
Alien vs Predator 3
Toy Story 4
Cars 3
This Is It 2
Inception 2 (I like Inception, but a sequel isn't necessary)
Lion King 2 1/2
Lion King 3 (I mean an actual 3, not 1 1/2)
Any M. Night Shyamalan movie
The Last Exorcism 2
Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star 2
Jumper 2
Disaster Movie 2
Finding Nemo 2

Nobody mentioned James Cameron's two Terminator movies... so I will. :yay:

was kinda disappointed how they remade Bad Lieutentant with Cage, orginal with Harvey K. was dope imo. Predator should have been done with after first one

^That depends if you believe what Herzog said about not seeing the Abel Ferrara one or even knowing about it.

I think that a smart film maker could take elements from early drafts of the story and some visual elements that couldn't be completelly used at the time and make a good reboot:

From these images you could form a similar but still very different film

Call me crazy, but I think a capable film maker could do a reboot of Back to the Future well. The right actors are the real problem. Main reason for this is that very soon part 2 is gonna be very outdated and wrong. I don't think this constitutes a remake, but I would not mind it. Actually, I really wish Zemeckis would go a little George Lucas and add in a brief scene or some diologue when the actors or off screen, stating people are living much longer and change all references to 2015 to 2045 or the like. An extra 30 years wouldn't hurt.

Did someone really say Stephen King's IT? Let's get real now... aside from Tim Curry's performance, there's really nothing that's all that great about that movie. The novel is fantastic, and deserves a much better adaptation.

If it was good it doesn't need remaking.

Some remakes:

Amityville Horror
Arthur
Dinner for Schmucks
Fright Night
Guess Who
Halloween
Firday the Thirteenth
The Karate Kid
King Kong
Let me in
Planet of the Apes
Psycho
The Thomas Crown Affair
the Wicker Man

and on and on...

Clearly, these are all superior to the originals.

Karate Kid was actually very good, not as much as the classic but it was much better than i tought it would be
