This is beyond impressive. And to think that it could have so easily gone wrong.

Kudos to the make up department, thank god they went the prosthetics route instead of CGI/mo-cap.

hm that's just a good point. He really lucked out here.

It's so impressive it makes me a bit sad they didn't go with route with Doomsday. It would've been cool to see a 7 foot guy in prosthetics.

I would never have wanted a prosthetic Doomsday, even after BvS still wouldn't, but I am very happy with how Croc looks.

you guys are right about Croc....they did such an amazing job and Im glad that people are pointing out little things like his reptilian eyelid thing that no one else probably even noticed! Kudos!

The eyelid has me confused though. I thought Croc was just a man with a disease?

But this Croc looks like a guy with a severe condition like the earlier comis and BTAS as opposed to the Dinosaur look in later comics and media (Which is the one I grew accustomed to) I don't think that's a fair comparison to Doomsday who's always look monstrous and unatural as ****. I don't think he could ever convincingly be pulled off practically. (Key word; 'convincingly' but I wasn't convinced by Smallville's Doomsday)

Rewatched Avatar recently. God bless CGI. We can do amazing things with it. DD was possible only because of CGI. But I'm glad they went with practical effect on KC. No need to turn him into a dinosaur. Not in this universe.

Yeah I've thought about it and CGI was the way to go with DD..
I guess I just wish he wasn't so huge.

Right, but the disease gives him reptilian traits, such as a third eyelid.

Personally, I think Doomsday needs to be Hulk sized, and you just can't do that without CGI.

I do think Doomsday should have been a bit smaller than he was in BvS -- closer to the size he was in his first form before he grew to the size of a building. I liked the concept of him absorbing energy and evolving/adapting, though.

He looks great. Fantastic combination of the classic Killer Croc design and the more modern modern hybrid reptile version.

Yeah. I remember in Hush, he was given some sort of chemical that furthered the mutation along, to the point where he looked like The Lizard in Spider-Man.

I think it's pretty awesome that he can still evolve further in future movies if they want him to as well. Kinda like his exchange with Batman in SoB.

That prosthetic makeup is beyond impressive and the CG eye blink tops it off perfectly. Love the attitude in those pics too.
