One question from me: Why is Vision the only one who can destroy Ultron and how exactly does he destroy him? Thank you.

because Ultron is made of Vibranium and Vision has the mind stone. All the infinity stones are tools of great destruction power. That's what he uses in the end when Ultron is down to just one robot form.

He's off the team, he can't live with constantly risking everyone or something. The usual Tony plot. He's had enough and wants to try without the whole hero stuff. They part on very friendly terms. The academy is the new Avengers base, and they don't have an academy as much as draw in a few allies to build a new team. These are Falcon, Rhodey, Wanda and Vision, and Steve and Nat set out to make them a team. Hawkeye is back with his family and he takes some stuff with him, but he's not like, completely off the team. He just has his life outside and there's no reason to doubt that he'll be back when they need him. Thor is on Asgard and Bruce on the run. It's all kind of in the open and not really a civil war setup.

I knew it would end with Tony and Cap on good terms. But I'm surprised there isn't a slight indication of the SRA or whatever they are going to use in CW.

Sounds like the post credit scene could have been someone coming to Tony and telling him about it.

Nope to both, though it's not exactly clear what Thor's and Jane's status is. There's no explicit statement that they've broken up, and he's totally in awe about her. She's just gone much. We'll have to wait for Thor 3 to be sure.

He has two bags with him, that's all we see, so no real telling. Since the new team moved out of the tower to a new base, I just guess he brought his stuff from the Tower home to spend as much time as possible with his family while they don't need him urgently.

Kind of? There's the logo, then the first shot is at the Strucker castle with the twins, then it dives right into the Avengers attack on the castle. That goes on for pretty long until Tony retrieves the scepter. Then comes the Age of Ultron logo for like a few seconds, then the movie continues. Real intro's aren't Marvel's thing anymore.

Just because Rhodey's joined up with Steve doesn't mean he may not switch sides later, mostly because right now they are no 'sides', just Avengers and former Avengers. That's probably the cast for all of them and seeing who falls on what side will be part of the 'draw' for that movie since everyone apparently ends this one on good terms.

Just a pretty weird vision of Steve where they're at a ball. She smiles at him, asks him to dance, they dance, that's it.

They finally get their dance (sort of). I'll be sobbing quietly in the corner. I do love how they've never forgotten just how in love with Peggy he was/still is.



Like others I'm a bit confused about what's going on with Hulk at the end? How does he end up 'dying' (not that he's dead)? Is it an accident he's in that jet? Does he basically use it as a way of committing suicide? I mean, if he's alive at the end as implied why isn't he coming back for Nat - seems rather harsh on her if they're supposed to have this great thing starting!

That actually has been answered long, we're going into repeat mode here. Which is okay for now, but if there's many questions twice or more times, I'll not go into it.

mid-credits scene is Thanos picking up the empty infinity gauntlet and saying "Guess then I'll have to do it myself."

Bruce never really went much into that thing with her. He kept her at distance all the time, because he doesn't want to hurt her. Also, he wants out of the fight, he hates the Hulk more than ever. In the end he's in the quinjet alone as Hulk and Nat is on com, trying to get through to him, to talk him back into Bruce so he can land. Instead he just quits the connection and in the end we learned he flew into the ocean (they don't know if he was still inside though). He wants to protect her from himself and he wants to go on the run, and while she considered running with him for a while, in the end she stays in the battle, so he goes alone.

7/10 I guess. Cap 2 and Avengers was better as whole, Iron Man 2 is more entertaining for me. Definitely better than IM 3 and Thor 2. Ranks somewhere about the first Thor, Captain America movie.
