How big would you say the steel beam was he lifted?

And Hemsworth said he wanted to see Thor lift cars and stay airbone more does those things happen?

Haha you're hilarious. Very invested in Thor's power level. The beam is significantly large. Cap would not be able to wield it. It's maybe 2 car lengths long, I dunno.

He carries a car at one point. He fights mainly on the ground but he does get airborne a fair bit.

His personality is calm, philosophical, and sincere. He's a pacifist too. You can definitely tell that Jarvis does not equal Vision. They're different beings. Jarvis is an A.I., Vision is a synthetic "human

Thank you very much, kind sir. Sounds a bit like Dr. Manhattan, and it is making me look forward to seeing the movie. :yay:

Oh nice! For some reason I thought he didn't. So it is a few blows each way 1 on 1 or something different? And when does it take place? Thanks.

From memory [BLACKOUT]Hulk punches him, which sends him flying back. Ultron then nopes on out of there. He then returns in an unexpected way, which some people may find a bit visually silly.[/BLACKOUT]

Thanks lol that's only because it's been one of my few slights about MCU Thor.

I've never had any complaints about his characterization or performance.

Hemsworth is amazing

How many different arrow types of Hawkeye can you remember and how were they used?

Can you recall which three characters had the lines that got the biggest laughs in the theatre? I don't expect you to remember the lines.

fury got the biggest laugh

a comment by a henchman also got a big laugh (similar to the "these guys are so weird" line in IM3)

third place? Gah.. Dunno, there's a lot but can't rank one over the other. I tend not to laugh out loud at comedy (I just grin), so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Does Ultron MAKE Vision, or does he just find the body? It's weird if he just finds Vision because that means someone else can make or is making more of them. It also makes Vision seem less unique.

[BLACKOUT]He does not make him[/BLACKOUT]

Just regular and various explosive ones from what I remember. Nothing that stood out as novel.
Oh, I thought there were loads of new ones. :csad:

How was Widow's new weaponry?

"These guys are so weird" was one of the funniest lines in any MCU film imo.

I hear Thor was pretty funny, does he mispronounce things or phrase things in a strange manner like in A:EMH?

Forgive me if this is either confusing or a elaborate question, after reading through these threads im rather confused about Ultron and his presence.

As far as i know there are three different "upgrades"
Mark 1, Prime, and Ultimate (i guess two, mark 1 is not really a upgrade)

but i hear that he has dies as Prime?
and that confuses me a whole lot, because
i figured he upgraded to Ultimate after Prime

can someone clarify this for me?
in terms of how he gets each upgrade and which upgrade is seen during a part in the movie.
thanks a ton.

How was Widow's new weaponry?

I probably missed some. There's so much action and the plot continues to dish out new information for you to digest throughout the entire movie. That, plus the 3D, made it hard to take everything in. Certain action shots have a lot going on in the frame ("it's so dense" lol), so you need repeat viewings to take it all in. Seeing it in 2d will help, IMO.

Widow's weaponry didn't stand out as anything special. Just electricity-type functionality.

Thor delivers some funny lines. I was surprised how humorous he was. Brought me back the the first Thor (he was less humourous in TDW).

No odd/Shakespearean phrasing from what I remember. But there's lines where he sounds regal and proud.

Thanks, yeah will be seeing it in 2D. So who were your personal favourites?

Theres the Ultron who crashes the party that we've all seen.

There's the Ultron who fights Cap on top of the Truck which we have all seen.

There's the vibranium/final Ultron which we have all seen, but he looks quite similar to his second form.

That's it for Ultron's forms besides his drones.

ahh okay, how does he transition into those different "forms"?
and does ultimate have a lot of screen time?

I should add that he has more than one "prime" body. Kind of like how there are multiple drone bodies.

he becomes prime via strucker's lab / pre-existing tech. the film barely explains it. i think it relies on the audience to connect the dots. you see a bunch of metal bodies in strucker's facility, so it looks like ultron utilises this. the film doesnt explain exactly how far strucker got with his metal bodies, nor why he was making them.

we don't see ultron's transformation into his final form. it happens off screen. he shows up and reintroduces himself as the new and improved ultron.

ultimate is there for the final set piece in sokovia, so a decent amount of screentime.

okay, so at one point Scarlett witch does rip out his heart?

I've also heard someone mention he says "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" and kills himself at one point? what was that about

hint: ultron is not tied to one physical form. he is an A.I. and can take control of another body if one gets destroyed.

i recommend you stop worrying about the how; it makes sense when you see it. i've given you the facts of his three forms, that should be enough.

the heart scene is close to the end. after the big battle is more or less over. by this point ultron is very beaten up.

Ultron is very beaten up?

Do the avengers gang up on him?

Apparently there are. something seems off. ive heard others say widow and hawkeye kick a lot off ass in the film and suddenly now, their fight scenes are just average and unmemorable?
:whatever:

i said their tech didn't stand out as anything new or novel. they both hold their own in all the set pieces that they're in.
