No need. There's people out on Twitter and IMDB that say there still is something, so I'd still have stayed just to see for my own two eyes. That's all.

You seem pretty defensive for someone who lashed out on Yurka when he saw TASM 2. You went to pretty great lengths just to be proven wrong in the end. If I recall, you even made a dedicated thread?

Someone questions you and the world is ending? Relax lol.

I am relaxed. That's the thing about not being a fraud; you dont have to worry about being found out.

Check my post history if you like, I saw Thor 2 and IM3 early and spoke about it on here.

Good to know. Don't take offense to any of this lol. I'm always skeptical until the mass majority has seen a movie lol.

just be wary of whether your skepticism is being influenced by irrational thought or not. skepticism is great, im probably overly skeptical too. i no longer buy redditleaker's dylan o'brien scoop.

I don't buy his scoop either, but I still do want O'Brien for the role. With all the funny stuff going around with him, it's very fishy. Someone on the spiderboards yesterday lined up all the reasons to believe he got the role. It was a pretty lengthy list.

We good man, we good. :highfive:

there have been enough people here, on reddit, on tumblr, on twitter... who have all seen the movie already and they all said there is no post-credit scene

yeah i figure if RL is wrong I can win the bet, but if he's right I get a casting that I like and lose a few bucks lol.

Im gonna head off, I will answer the next bunch of questions if you have any.

I asked this before your attendance was questioned and I think they got lost in the heated conversation that followed :yay:

Thanks for answering everyones questions Repulsor Blast.

Is it true that Widow is taken hostage by Ultron? Why does he do this instead of killing her?

What was your favourite/least favourite moment?

How close does AoU come to meeting your favourite MCU movie?

Thanks!

She does get kidnapped. I guess ultron does not kill her because she is no longer an threat. He isnt actually interested in killing the avengers. He only wants to complete his grand plan. When the avengers get in the way of that plan, only then does he fight them. Say if, during the truck fight scene with cap. Cap just said "I'm gonna leave now", Ultron would have let him.

Fav moment is a hard one. I liked the final line quite a bit. You'll know why when you see it. By final line I do not mean the line in the mid credits scene.

Least favourite moment.. Maybe Thor's vision which featured heimdall. Was a bit melodramatic and silly. Heimdall is hysterical and his dialogue is pretty cliche.

AOU isn't perfect and I wish it was more methodical in it's pace, explained things better, and had less frenetic set pieces. 2D may help me take the action in better, though. I also didn't like Tony's arc and motivation and he's my fav character.

Thanks for answering! Did you find this aspect of Ultrons character convincing?

A few reviews have noted the pace and introducing things suddenly in the movie so this makes sense. The first movie was beautifully simplistic - do you think this was lost and whether this was a good thing?

I think this movie may have suffered from over-ambition, whereas the first avengers was quite modest in terms of story, revelations, etc. It laid the cards on the table early and everything followed logically on from there.

AOU, is pretty much the opposite. I think there was a longer cut that explained everything. Whedon wouldn't intentionally rely on the audience to just accept things or connect the dots, I don't think.

Deleted scenes should be interesting.

what's gild?

If people's comments about the pacing turns out to be true
I am gunna rub it so hard in the faces of all the posters who called others "runtime worryers" and "chicken littles" about the length of the movie

Oh, they threw in a ton of stuff yet decided to trim the length by an hour, and now the pacing is off??
Gee, ya don't say...

IF the complaints are valid, that is, I hope not, still really want the movie to be amazing, but if they pulled an X3 I'll be super bummed

I can give you an example of a likely edit for time:

Thor goes off to investigate shortly after the team arrives at the farm. We get a quick scene of him meeting Selvig. Then a bunch of scenes later that do not have to do with Thor, we return to him and Selvig and they've somehow found a magical fountain that can allow Thor to relive the vision that scarlet witch showed to him. I was like? Huh? How'd you find it? How'd you know about this never-before-mentioned fountaint. Is it a popular norse mythology thing?

They likely cut scenes which showed the how and why and instead showed act 1 and 3 of [BLACKOUT]thor and selvig's side adventure.[/BLACKOUT]

Strictly speaking, you can fill in the blanks yourselves, but it definitely isnt a strength of the film to be jumping a few steps ahead for time.

There's some other "act 2 is missing" moments peppered throughout the film as well. [BLACKOUT]We see SW planning to hex hulk. it cuts to another scene. when we cut back hulk is in the middle of a rampage. we never see the actual hex etc.[/BLACKOUT] Not really a problem but just an example of a likely edit.

Lifetime lurker(and I mean I have been lurking for YEARS) I check this site every damn day.

However, this being my 1st post and all, I have sat here wanting to post "I believe the after credit scene is legit".

So there we go, either one great 1st post, or a terrible bomb.

Repulsor Blast

What did you think of Spader performance as Ultron?

Repulsor Blast, thank you for the many spoilers I have been able to read through. I have not seen this question asked yet, but I do believe another hinted at it.
Can you explain how/why Vision has a cape?

Its interesting to hear your views on this and the examples you provide. Others who have seen the movie provide similar examples like when Ultron first meets the twins.

What mark do you give the movie out of ten?
