lol at the people who complain about deaths not being necessary and think we need 20 Avengers on screen in the next movie.

You think five or six Avengers are enough for Civil War? Or to fight Thanos?

More is better at this point.

The next movie is Infinity War so there's going to be something like that number of characters regardless of if we get one more death here or not. So far the deaths we've had haven't reduced the number of people available anyway.

Not if you want a coherent film, by the sounds of it Joss barely kept this one under control.

This is my first post. I cannot wait until next friday. So. Yeah.

That's why I'm immediately cynical of the film, I know they'll likely put nearly every MCU character in these films, and while that may sound great to comic book fan who likes their comic book shout outs and quick fixes of comic book glory, as a film fan it doesn't instill me with much hope.

So he's both paranoid and overconfident at the same time?

What?

In fairness, in bad situations Tony does tend to hide it beneath over confidence and snark.

That's not really how I read that particular scene, but it's not out of character for Tony.

You don't need to have 20 main characters, don't get me wrong! I just think you should have as many Avengers on retainer as possible going into Phase 3.

I think under different management, it's possible.

This time tomorrow I'll be a blasted hour and 10 into this thing.

You need a limited number of main characters. The fact that the secondary characters, minor characters and cameos happen to be superheroes doesn't mean they should get more screentime and focus than supporting characters and minor characters in other successful films with big casts. If they stick to that it can work.

Today I get to watch Avengers Age Of Ultron

can't wait

what a awesome birthday present

You think 20 heroes fighting 1 villain will make a non bloated movie? Deaths are necessary to let others shine and keep the writing tight.

What is the Avengers Academy all about? When is it brought up and what happens with it (how does it pertain to the story)?

How was War Machine? I read another site that said that Whedon turned him into an Iron Man 2.0 in terms of personality.
