Yeah, loved that scene from EMH. Anyways, I don't think you have anything to worry about with Hawkeye dying. Joss Whedon's guilt of neglecting Hawkeye in the first film is shown in AOU where he is made the central character almost. Killing him off in the movie would be insane.

Could you share more please about what the EW article says about Banner and Widow? She finds Bruce and Hulk attractive? Whedon really is obsessed with beauty and the beast storylines Just hope the Russos don't share this view and this story gets dropped pretty quickly.

Also not happy with the implication on the EW website that some of Thor's vision got cut. I love the suggestions that his story links to Thanos and was looking forward to seeing his vision the most.

Okay i saw one of the New TV Spots for AOU and in It Captain America says Avengers to his New Team and i don't know who is Cap's New Team is i know that Falcon is assuming a New Member of his New Team but who else is in Cap's New Team besides Cap, Widow and Falcon.

Reports have said War Machine and Scarlet Witch are there and possibly Hawkeye and Vision. We know Hawkeye is in Civil War so he's at least likely.

Way back when it was first leaked/rumored someone said Ms. Marvel was there too but I'm guessing that's been changed since she's getting a movie as Captain Marvel instead. So Vision possibly takes her place.

Angel/Nina (although strictly speaking this is beast and beast a few nights of the month )

More than two isn't it? Now we get what many see as a contrived Widow and Banner romance, which seems to be recycling a recurrent theme does it not? Saying Whedon doesn't favour beauty and the beast romances is like saying he doesn't like to kill off characters.

I'm a fan of the MCU characters (not particular directors) so want to see realistic, convincing friendships/relationships.

I could go on. If you take two shows where there are as many beast as beauties, its rather normal that there will be a high number of Beauty/Beasts relationships, as there will be as many other kinds of relationships. Thats not an obsession. Thats common sense.

As for realtionships that are realistic... most relationships in real life dont are neither credible nor convincing, nor do they make real sense. If you want a realistic relationship, look no further than Widow/Banner.

The Hulk thing worked very well in Astonishing.

It seems your definition of a beauty and the beast relationship differs from mine then. I consider the dynamics of the relationship far more important than whether someone can technically be classed a 'beast'. All those relationships operated completely differently from one another. If the same beats were being repeated over and over again then perhaps I'd agree with the term 'obsession' but given the Buffyverse is filled to the brim with vampires and demons, your definition seems so broad as to be completely meaningless.

Furthermore, I think you're being extremely premature in your condemnation of the Natasha/Bruce pairing. How can you possibly speak to how convincing it is at this stage? Ah well, I'm not going to convince you to like something you clearly don't.

I'm not a fan of the pairing but I still think there will be great character development with the Hulk/Widow pairing. I'm also guessing its not going to end with a happily-ever-after.

Not a huge fan of the whole Widow/Hulk thing, but I highly doubt it'll last more than this movie so it's not the huge of a deal as long as it doesn't get distracting. Though if Hulk does get sent away or Natasha ends up dying, I really hope the other isn't like depressed because of it.

I don't think that's it...its a pretty big age difference but then again, so is Scarlett and Jeremy (I think 17 vs 14 years). For me, personally, I just like Hawkeye and Black Widow together. But I love Banner too. In the end I'm just excited to see the Avengers back together again.

no, the age difference isn't what is bothering people. most of the people I've seen upset with the pairing voice two primary gripes -

one, that in the first Avengers (and in TWS with the arrow necklace) it seemed like Natasha was getting set up with Clint, and having "shipped" Clint/Natasha since then, these fans are mad that Joss is going in a new direction

two, people are worried that Natasha is becoming nothing more than a love interest for all the male characters (ie flirting with Tony in IM2, having a "thing" with Hawkeye in Avengers, and kissing Cap in TWS)

personally, I don't really care about shipping in the MCU so I'm just concerned with whether or not the Hulk/Widow romance makes sense in context

I have a mixed feeling about a possible romance thing and it's not because of age,If there has to be a romance involving BW then I just prefer her to be with Cap/Hawkeye or Daredevil.

For this film,It's okay but only if it's a minor subplot with it just being a crush
