Lets move on, I think this gives a new perspective on Mjolnir's Psychoanalytical skills XD

In all seriousness though, it's interesting. He says it's right after Vision is born. He hasn't had an opportunity to do anything to prove he's worthy. It must literally judge character and soul. Apparently Vision is born with a good heart

Just listened to that AMC podcast and Shnepp did mention Vision picks up the hammer but I don't think we will end up seeing that in the film.

I don't think so. There's nothing to suggest that he was faking it.

He was trying to lift it at first and it started moving which probably shocked him and then looking at his face he was putting on a act.

He could lift it, but he is trying not to make Thor embarrass.

What a great guy.

Why not!? That's not the kind of scene you act to leave out the movie. Imo
Picking up Thor's hammer is not a random thing to be doing in a fight!! Is a very specific moment.

Lol if 2 different characters lift Mjolnir in this movie Thor fans will be on suicide watch.

I don't think Cap will lift it till IW Part II. It's just now he officially knows he can anytime he wants.

Imagine if Maria Hill and one of the drones lift it and then Thor fails to!

According to the reddit guy who cites another guy on reddit who posts spoilers, it's Black Widow who dies.

I'm trying to figure out if this guy is trolling though

Yea by far the most realistic and credible summary of the biggest questions I've read, it has BW as the dying Avenger.

And honestly have we heard shes in Civil War? Would be weird if she wasn't in it. Unless....

Maybe she does die and Hulk rages out like no tomorrow and Tony and the gang have no other choice but to send him into space?

Actually it doesn't work that way in the MCU. No machine Shield had could move it.

and yet a coat rack can hold it?
the physics of the MCU are all sorts of screwy
regardless, if they want they can always say it's because he is not a living being, so he is not worthy OR unworthy, but therefore also doesn't get Thor's powers when he uses the hammer

Thor placed it on the coat rack...it just means no one unworthy can remove it from there.

Unless that is stated specifically, I'm going to choose to believe in my loophole
and anybody else who doesn't want the hammer being ****ed out is free to join me :woot:

THOR put it on the rack. For it to be moved, someone worthy must move it. Just like THOR put it on the table. If it was simply about weight/power, once the hammer touches the ground, it'd go to the center of the planet until Thor calls it back.

Vision shouldn't be able to wield the hammer IMO, but it may happen since that party scene is a foreshadow of things to come. Which must mean that Vision is the one that beats Ultron.

I could have sworn it was confirmed she was in CW but ScarJo described BW's mindset at the end of Avengers 2 to Hypable and she talked about how BW had been hoping for something and how she's not thrilled about it but she's accepted that she has a "higher calling" so that makes me think she's not dead at the end.

My money is still on Rhodey for extra Stark angst or Quicksilver as the reason SW switches sides but we'll see!

New interview with Joss Whedon about the original run time for AOU http://www.vulture.com/2015/04/how-age-of-ultron-nearly-broke-joss-whedon.html

Whedon’s first cut of Age of Ultron came in at nearly three and a half hours; eventually, he and Feige worked together to slice the film down to 142 minutes. “There's one or two things that I'm unhappy about not having in there, but they're small,” said Whedon. “I said to Kevin before we started, 'My secret fantasy that'll never come true is that the second one is shorter than the first.' And we're shorter by a minute.” The first Avengers film still weighs heavily on Whedon’s mind, though not for the reasons you might think. With rave reviews and a $1.5 billion worldwide gross, it was a success in almost every way imaginable and immediately established Whedon, until then best known for his TV shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly, as an A-list feature filmmaker. It seemed like everyone loved the movie ... everyone, that is, except the director.

“When I watch it, I just see 'flaw, flaw, flaw, compromise, laziness, mistake,’” said Whedon. “The reason I set out to make another film is because I wanted to make one that was better, and I wanted to up my game as a shooter and work harder on every aspect of it and sort of give myself up to it in a way that's hard for me, because I have a family. I started as a writer in low-budget TV, and there was always this element of, ‘This is good enough.’ And with this movie, I never wanted to say, ‘This is good enough.’”

Though he gave his all to Age of Ultron, Whedon hasn’t been able to watch the final cut all the way through yet — “I tried,” said the typically hard-on-himself filmmaker, “and I had a terrible time” — but he’s heartened by the glowing reaction online from early press screenings. “Is it perfect? It is not,” said Whedon. “Is it me? It's so baldly, nakedly me. To do something that is as personal as this movie is — on that budget, for a studio that needs a summer tentpole — is an extraordinary privilege.”

LMAO at "extra Stark angst"...against WHAT? Pepper "died" on IM3 and he did nothing.

Quicksilver and SW were already fighting with the Avengers in the overhead-circle scene, so there is no need for him to die for her to switch.

I swear that some of you folks get off on death, your necrophilia is worse than Thanos'! lol

We should be getting some solid spoilers later today after the premiere. Well I'm hoping we do...

...I don't want him to die, I'll be very upset if he does, but he's one of the few characters who is not a main Avenger and who also is known enough to the audience that they might give a crap if he dies. And these movies are not strangers to killing off a character to give another motivation/angst and Whedon is not Shane Black, so it's kinda weird to act like two different directors would write exactly the same. Just because Black dropped the ball with a character's reaction doesn't mean Whedon would. We'll know for sure soon anyway.
