Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 confirmed. What do you want to see in the next season

So the premise would be to re-build SHIELD with name characters. Not a bad idea.

I could almost see Cybertek helping SHIELD, now that the "incentives" program is presumably gone. They'd just be working for $$ now, good or bad.

But I don't see Quinn working with SHIELD. He's too self-interested. He's got the Gravitonium (right?), and once Dr. Hall emerges, i think that Quinn will either manipulate him or (more likely) be Graviton's first casualty.

Well! not only known agents, I love to get attached to brand new character, but they have to be well crafted. Another 10 episodes with the presentation of new characters could be annoyng, is the reason why most of the people leave the show.

I think that this known character could be nice recurring casts, the team have to be brand new, why not with interchangeable characters depending on the mission.

Deathlok should be brought on as a team member. Ward should be seriously injured early on and be brought back in mid season as some sort of enhanced super villian.

Yeah, I like so much the idea of Deathlok with a chair to the "secret avengers/ SHIELD strike team" desk

Oh God, can we please stop with making Ward into a supervillain? The whole point of the character is that he is so ****ed up, he literally does not know how to function without orders. He is the show's version of a human weapon, but without the cliched dead stares and fancy brainwashing machines. He is what happens in real world to real child soldiers, complete with the killing of the dog. If he is given an arc, it better be about getting a free will.

Seriously, I boggle at where the hell this idea even comes from. It shouldn't need to be "hoped". Guy is going to be an Inhuman of some form, going by the foreshadowing.

Maybe the real Mandarin is an inhuman in the MCU?

I would DEFINITELY prefer that any Coulson in the movies were to be handled in a comedic credits scene. There is no need to complicate the movie itself by bringing him in...but to settle the issue of them not knowing that he's alive, just throw him in for a shawarma type scene to promote the show.

Coulson buys the Shawarma joint to spy on Cap and the avengers

Doubtful, because that would imply far more capability than he actually has. Presumably a superpowered being from an advanced society could do better than "organization of ordinary terrorists that has to buy or steal their guns, and can just about manage to break out of jail an amoral actor after his patron organization fell apart."

Ward is coming back as -Ward.

I agree.. i was just stretching it out a bit

They left it pretty ambiguous,so I don't think Deathlok is a Lock (:woot:) for returning next season.I think he'll show up,but probably not with his own season long arc like this year.

I just hope they keep up the level of writing and direction that the last five or six episodes had. Any more comic characters or storylines would be a bonus.

I brought this up in another thread, but how about Ward doing stealth ops missions as the Ronin identity, released by Talbot or somebody else in the military on a sort of Thunderbolts style program for time off his sentence. The identity kind of makes sense because he's now a master-less warrior, and the Ronin name has been passed around by alot of people in the comics.

Ironically, one of the first things that Talbot would assign Ward/Ronin to do would probably be the job of tracking down his old team.

Definitely want to see some more stuff with Gravitonium Guy and the Cryo Kid (dibs on that for a superpowered cop show name).

I do like this idea, but I fear it sets Ward up for redemption. There's no coming back from where he went

I like this idea, if just for the logic behind it. Well done. It could be a season-long mystery, or at least up to a reveal at the mid-season break. Although Ward might need a break so the show can develop some other plots. Maybe start this storyline up for the second half of the season.

How is what Ward did any different than what Faith did to Buffy and the Scooby Gang in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"? Despite everything, Faith did get a redemption of sorts on that show, so I don't see why it can't be the same for Ward.

Oh come on. What plot point caused the most uproar between casual viewers? Ward's betrayal. What plot point is already being discussed the most for season 2? The possibility of Ward's redemption. How can anyone think that the writers will not milk his storyline up until the end of series is beyond me, and full out villains do not compelling storylines make.

On another note, TPTB already hinted at more reveals regarding his psycho family...

Could be nice see the older Ward as one of the villain of the 2° season

I just had a Thought, Wonder if Deathlok will cross over into the Netflix shows somehow?

That would be cool, but should only be a minor role. He's an AoS character now

Ward's redemption
Maria Hill regular slot helping Coulson rebuild
Skye in a bikini
A few good villains, not A listers but not the D's either
More cameo's/easter eggs here and there
Skye in a bikini

I would like to see ZERO stand alone episodes next season. I think that the entire season should be one long story arc or broken into a few different arcs. Kinda like the comics....:)
