The new series has a ton of possible entry points for new viewers, but as long as you know the basic concept of the show and a little bit about the more prominent villains you should be fine dropping in every episode

1. Opening was a bit clunky...but I guess they felt like they needed to get a bunch of info out for any new viewers.
