Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of SHIELD - S02E14 - "Love in the Time of Hydra"

The question was "how has NuSHIELD hurt the show?"

Particularly since it's basically just been one episode. Hard to judge it just based on that.

It takes time away from the more interesting Inhumans plot, I suppose? I'm not hugely bothered, so long as the show doesn't try to convince me that NuSHIELD aren't hypocritical *******s or some such.

I agree.....you cant judge it based on one episode and the build up leading to it.....
I mean someone on this forum said it was necessary to have a split with in SHIELD since so many people think that Fury is dead and some people think Coulson is dead also...so i guess it make sense...
I'd like this wrapped up quickly because there's to many loose threads around like Grant Ward and his intentions.....Graviton?
Is the Centipede program dead? - Deathlok? -

I don't think this plot took time away from the Inhumans plot, I think the Ward/Agent 33 plot did. But sometimes this kind of pacing is a good idea. We're building suspense because we get a week off for things to percolate (plus, Skye hadn't quite caught up to where everything else Inhuman-wise had gone).

I think a season should be 52 weeks straight.

On the one hand, if they could pull it off I'd be 100% on board. However, sadly, I think that it takes more than a week to make an episode, so the quality would nose-dive (also no-one would get time off, so the actors and writers would burn out badly. Also the crew, but I think that the crew could be bolstered to allay that.)

I think she'll end up being a triple agent. I think her orders might be coming from Fury and she'll end up being on Coulson's side all along... even if he didn't know it.

I think it is more likely that she'll just switch sides due to nuSHIELD doing something she doesn't agree with or in some other way showing themselves to be hypocritical a**hats. I dunno if I want this to be resolved with 'she was on our side all along.' It's kinda already been done with May last season.

I think in the end it will bring FitzSimmons back together as their new BFFs have become untrustworthy and they will be left with only each other.

Also, just think; this could mean Coulson SHIELD inherits an aircraft carrier for Season 3!
