If your a Marvel fan and/or have kids this is something you will want to check out. It's called Marvel Universe LIVE and it looks to be something huge. I made a thread about it here in the comics section because I wasn't sure where to put it:

http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=466805

You can see when they are coming to a city near you at the site:

http://www.marveluniverselive.com/

and this will be a multi-country thing as well! Looks like Marvel is going to have another hit on their hands. I don't see how this thing will be anything but a monster with the popularity of the movies

You know, Tripp is quickly becoming my favourite member of the team. He's basically what Ward should have been if he had been straight up SHIELD.

- Badass, check
- Smart, check
- Fun interactions with the crew, check
- Has an axe to grind with the enemy, check
- Legacy of a Howling Commando, check
- Is better than Ward, check

Really hope they keep him on next season :)

Well I would think Ward has reached the 'point of no return' at this stage (he was even ready to off May too, as well as killing Koenig) so keeping Triplett on would make sense.

Can't see any way Ward can come back to this team at any rate. Even a redemption/change of heart thing wouldn't really make his return seem feasible to me.

Yeah, Ward is gone, at least as a permanent member of the team. Even if he has a change of heart, Son of Coul can't possibly trust him. I'd like Ward to be the hitman for whoever opposes the Bus next season, and be a constant thorn in their side. That or if he does "redeem" himself, be used reluctantly and sparingly

But Ward is a triple agent guys, no need for redemption or change of heart :cwink:

I think he's only doing this for Garrett. He owes him, and no one else. So once Garrett is out of the picture, I doubt that Ward will play the henchman for the next big bad.

You can't possibly bring him back though, and he needs to stick around. He's a fun foil to the team

I agree he can't be part of the team again. And evil Ward is definitely too much fun.

What I personally want to see, is the remnants of SHIELD or even the government using him. Maybe they could use him on their very own Deathlok program, or infuse him with Nanotech, that was used during the Civil War in the comics. So they force him to work for them, and pretty much bring him near death, every time he refuses, with the push of a button.

I just can't see him willingly working for anyone else other than Garrett. The only reason he is so loyal is because of their history. He wouldn't have that with anyone else.

Murder... it's what triple agents do.

That would be the worst thing the show could possibly do. Make him a triple agent and I'm out.

Yeah, I was kinda wondering about this initially, thinking it looked like he shot Hand in a way that left it ambiguous to whether or not she survived.
But then they had him kill SEVERAL people since then, and clearly good guys too, so the whole triple agent thing is WAY out of the question.

Unless he somehow has been secretly shooting everyone with the night night guns. But I doubt that no one (on the HYDRA side) would notice he isn't really killing people.

A triple agent who killed Hand, Koenig and other SHIELD agents, was ready to kill May, and now has hijacked the bus and is trying to take Skye to decrypt the hard drive. Coulson shouldn't wonder where the bus has gone though, because he knows it's all part of the plan and Ward is just following Coulson's orders. ;)

I don't see Ward being a Triple Agent.

Exactly. I have a friend who thinks that he will be a triple agent too, but I called him insane when he told me. He's killed quite a few people thus far, he killed off Patton Oswald's character (which made me hate him even more), and has become a great villain with this great deception. I loved how Skye tricked him into thinking that she didn't know a thing about him being Hydra, very smart with replacing the coin too. This show gets better and better by the week, and the only way I can see Ward redeeming himself with the team is if he sacrifices himself to save them, which I could see happening if Skye's life was on the line especially, I could see him jumping in-front of a bullet for her and getting himself killed or something along those lines. I do think Ward will die by the season's end, if not, he will be revealed to be a comic-book character/villain of some sort for next season.

He's killed two of SHIELD's highest-ranking remaining non-corrupt agents (Hand and Koenig). And the way that he killed Koenig looked particularly nasty/violent. He also murdered two more SHIELD agents on that plane, and either killed or helped to kill dozens more at the Fridge. People need to face it, he's on the bad team for real. There's no way that Coulson would have let him go this far if he was a triple agent. Coulson's too idealistic/moral for that. I don't even think that Fury would have let him go this far.

Yeah, ward is a mess he could be any villain really. I wonder if paxton might actually be his older brother?

Any villains with 3 brothers? I thouget at one point Ward may really be Wonderman but.... That could actually be the unnamed little brother with Ward actually becoming Grim Reaper

Also, I don't understand why the posters on IMDB think Simmons will turn.

Are you serious?

Is this guy serious?

Because she's British and Hollywood loves using Brit's to play villains? Seriously, that's all I've got, there's no evidence of that whatsoever at this point.

A lot of them got a bit of "weird" vibes when in TURN, TURN, TURN she said she was getting better at lying. Personally i got the impression that was a bit of misdirection for the episode, but many still think thats a clue.

Hey, FITZ is british too and nobody thinks he is evil. God bless Scotland. :)

No, but sooner or later the more Hollywood stuff Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Castecker are going to play Americans.

It's an unwritten rule in Hollywood that a British actor has to play an American at least once in their life.

He garrotted Koenig (they showed him cleaning the thing off when Skye saw the blood behind his ear), so yeah, not a nice way to take someone out, and if he were a triple agent he could have incapacitated Koenig to keep him out of the way while he got Skye off the base. Plus he was clearly ready to kill May too.

The triple agent angle is a bit a reach after everything he has done (murder, taking down the Fridge etc). All he is doing is helping Hydra get stronger, and to what end?
