it might have been Smulders. Chloe could have been a big fan of HIMYM.

Speaking of which, while I would not be surprised if we see more Maria Hill in season two, I don't think we'll see Smulders join the cast full time. She mentioned on the Late Show with David Letterman the night of the Series finale of HIMYM that she's moved back to New York, where her husband, Saturday Night Live Cast Member Taran Killam works.
I'm sure we'll see her in season 2 in cameos, but the cool thing about her moving to New York is she will be easily available for all the Netflix series, and it will make sense since she is working for Stark, possibly show Avengers tower.

Random thought. We know TAHITI was an emergency Avenger protocol right? And that Stark is the only one of the Avengers to have been given the original specs on the Initiative? Could it be that Stark was the one "above" Fury that ordered Phil to be reborn? Could RDJ be the cameo for that very reason? It all fits...

Didn't we find out that the one above Fury was Coulson, he was in charge of the TAHITI project.

Also I feel like cameo must have been Patton or Acker at this point.
I don't think - in regards to Coulson/what was done to him - there really was anyone "above" or "higher up" than Fury making the decisions. It seems like that was more May's own fear/assumptions based on what very little she knew and shouldn't be taken as actual fact. The most she knew is that someone other than Fury was "in charge" of the project. The video at the end tells us who, Coulson, and he was reporting to Fury on the matter.

AND I'm making a HYDRA I.D.

So would this make you a double agent?

What if Coulson and May find a way at Cybertek to disable Garrett's android body?

May is Skye's secret mother? What?

Also, the actual mention of "triple agent" scares me. Leave Ward alone. He's finally interesting.

Yeah, no triple agent unless they want to be jumping the shark this early.

Triple agent would make no sense cos why would Ward not say what actually went down at the fridge and why wouldn't he tell Skye the situation, it would full on be the worst thing ever to happen in a TV show.

Jackson confirmed.

And screw off Loeb for mentioning the idea that Ward maybe be a triple agent.

He's been firing on Coulson too, and he killed Koenig. This can't all be part of Coulson's plan, unless, like TAHITI, he doesn't remember commissioning Ward to carry out this mission. But he only met Ward at the start of this series (or so he thinks). This would have to be the most elaborate and far fetched ruse if Ward were a triple agent - killing people off, stealing the bus, kidnapping Skye, shooting at Coulson, going up against Hill etc, just to infiltrate Hydra.

Maybe Pierce was a triple agent too. He was infiltrating them the whole time, and his death at the end, at the hands of Fury, was simply taking one for the team. :o

Could have just quoted that TV Guide Insert I posted earlier.

Loeb's always been a hack. He ruined Heroes.

So glad that Wards still staying in character and being himself. I was expecting him to start breaking out in the evil voice...

Gotta admit, this shows got a LOT better over the last episodes.

I'm just really not digging super-awesome-legacy-candoeverything-guy that's replaced Ward. He feels like a step back again.

Triple agent
Triple agent
Triple agent
Triple agent
Triplett

:wow:

I wonder if Nick Fury will be sans eyepatch in his appearance.

How does Tony Stark give orders to Nick Fury? Ever?
Not gonna happen. Besides, Tony Stark would never order that kind of torture done to Coulson. It takes someone with a black heart to do something like that to Coulson in the name of a supposed "greater good," and none of our heroes are going to be that someone. Nick Fury is the one who fits the bill, and obviously took the TAHITI project out to its horrific conclusion with the corpse of Coulson.

I don't think any show has had such a strong turn around in it'sa first season as this one, it's gone from a show I stuck on and just let roll by to a show I really look forward to. The fact the story is now ongoing as opposed to a case of the week format has really helped.

I never thought Ward would become interesting but he really has and I am looking forward to seeing some back story next week. He's obviously killed too many people to be a triple agent (Unless Hand and Patton were Hydra) but I think he'll turn out to be more complex than just being a villain, and he didn't kill the two cops this week.

Bravo to Chloe Bennett, the most derided of the cast at the start, but she's been great since her arc really kicked in just prior to getting shot. The scenes between Skye and Ward in the last ep were really well done.

Btw are we supposed to believe that Coulson can physically take Ward, Natasha and May?

Agents of SHIELD XXX: The Porn Parody.
All will be revealed. And then some.

Monster of the week is hard to pull off these days no matter what Jeff Loeb says. Supernatural sneaks one in here and there but that show has a decades worth of followers. TV storytelling has changed big time in the last 10-15 years.

I have no theories, aside from Hand's death still feeling off kilter. But I hope he sticks around. I liked him well enough as generic good guy. As an antagonist he's even better.

She's been really delivering the last two eps. Every time I mention it I feel the haters rolling their eyes but I don't care, I know good acting when I see it.

We haven't seen much but he has a few feats. He took down Talbot with no problems. In the pilot he pulled a Neo when Skye's van door almost took his head off. Plus the robber takedown in the One Shot.

In my mind he's still hovering somewhere between 'badass secret agent' and 'clearly superhuman'.

Also sorry for the multiquotes, usually that's done when someone wants to argue but it helps when you want to touch on a few different points too.

No no... that was a collaborative effort.

All at once? No. But he's probably a match for any of them one on one. He's a highly trained agent remember?

Like I said, we've seen hints but I don't think we've seen COULSON UNLEASHED just yet.

Because it will probably be really awkward for everyone involved. Including us.

Only some thieves at the Roxxon petrol station got a small sample of the 'Coulson Unleashed' treatment.. Now Talbot got a dose as well

No it would make who ever has their name on it a Hydra agent. lol
Made a Wallpaper with Ward as the Hydra Agent (in the Fanart section) here's the blank
