Might even be the death nail to AoS, but I think the show could survive Coulson leaving tbh.

Clark Greg will probably be cgi de-aged for a small part since Captain Marvel takes place in the 90's so it won't have much bearing on the SHIELD TV show. Plus the tv show is probably done shooting episodes for the season regardless of Coulson or the shows fate for future seasons.

Daisy as director doesn't make sense to me. She might be the most hot-headed person on the team. It would be like having Danny leading the Defenders.

Agreed plus fans will be very unhappy if Coulson is killed off that there'd probably be a hashtag on social media saying BringCoulsonBack going viral.

The point I'm trying to make is there would probably be creative and contractual reasons to keep Coulson off the show.

It's not impossible for Clark to do double duties, but it's not very common thing.

It was on earth, presumably got there to check on inhuman stuff, got found by the Nazis/Hydra under Werner Reinhardt. Peggy Carter and the SSR confiscated it and it remained in SSR/SHIELD vaults since.

That's a damn good shout, however Coulson didn't seem to know what he was looking at when he saw the Kree (my interpretation at least) so one would assume, his position within the Captain Marvel film will be of low level (in meaning he'll be a low-level agent).

I do hope they don't kill Coulson off though (on AoS). Nobody can lead the team quite like he can - even when Mace was [officially] running the show, it was still Coulson leading the team. AoS would do well to keep him; I'm not entirely convinced the show will succeed without him, though saying that, I'm not actually expecting him to die - any AoS death will likely be instant, not a drawn out process.

It would make a ton of sense since the two of them worked ops back in the day. The official timeline in the flashback to Ivanov's origin is "years and years ago" and from the perspective of 2017 the 1990's are a couple of decades ago.

Agreed. Plus it would help further connect the shows and movies in the MCU as some MCU fans are under the delusion that the shows are not part of the MCU and as a fan of AoS that really ticks me off.

MODOK superior talking about changing sides and dumping General Hale and now General Hale calling Phil Coulson one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. They may not actually say it but they are doing a Secret Avengers story.

I think somehow the Particle Infusion Chamber will end up being used to save Coulson's life. Just not sure how. Maybe infuse him with blood from Vijaay Nadir. I also think that the chamber is somehow what the kree were using to bring the dead back to life.

Dove Cameron is an odd choice to play the Ruby character, but I think they were going for irony by casting a stereotypical teenage girl manufactured by Disney to play the part of a genetically altered HYDRA super assassin. I think the main problem is that I’m losing track of who the big mad is. Is it Kasius, is it Ruby, is it Daisy, or is it someone else?

There's more than one Big Bad here. We've got a whole ensemble of them. Kasius is the Big Bad of the future period; General Hale is the Big Bad of the present day; Ruby is a potential Big Bad if she overthrows her mother; and we've also got the so-called "Confederacy," the group of aliens who play some kind of role in the coming war which supposedly helps cause the destruction of Earth. We'll soon see where the whole Big Bad ensemble goes from here.
