I mean, I imagine by the time that Endgame comes out, the season will already be done shooting and writing at that point. Would there even be time to adapt?
Since Joss Whedon pulled out his family running the Agents of SHIELD seem to have no more knowledge than we do from seeing the trailers. So the show knew the Thanos name to drop and something happened in New York, which they overplayed and the timeline is iffy, the viewer just has to head canon a bit more time than most accept before Thanos' main force attacked Wakanda. At this point I doubt if they know the mechanism that Endgame will use to restore the stars to the MCU movies. They were told before starting season one about the Winter Soldier events.... they probably knew the Endgame plans before last season finished
That's a big "probably." After all, when reversed, the Civil War writers had no idea about stuff like the Terrigwn Mist or Inhumans stuff. Why would the SHIELD team be privy to details about Endgame?
The showrunners for AoS still need to run their story ideas through Marvel Studios, it has always worked that way. They were privy to IW as evidenced by the final 4-5 episodes of season 5 which were all set up around the premise of Thanos and his forces coming to Earth.
As for the trailer, the final line where Coulson is asked if he is from SHIELD and he replies "What is SHIELD", I think that is previous dialogue, it seems like I've heard that before.
Yes, wasn't it when they were in the Framework and they were trying to tell him what the real world was?
6th season has 13 episodes right? for a 7th; would they re-up to 22 episodes?
I mean, it's still quite reasonable to think there's communication, but I didn't see anything in the back half of Season Five that couldn't have been intelligently guessed by watching the trailer. They were privy to IW as evidenced by the final 4-5 episodes of season 5 which were all set up around the premise of Thanos and his forces coming to Earth.
to air for the Fall or for next winter/Spring?I believe the 7th season has already been renewed for another 13 episodes. Production on season 7 begins soon.
