Jeremy Renner aka Hawkeye is 43, so they could easily be a former married couple.

But, to me it seems more likely that they would cast Mockingbird as someone younger. At the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if they cast someone like Carlize Theron (38) as Captain Marvel, so they could go for an older actor for Mockingbird.

At this stage, I think Lucy Lawless' SHIELD agent named Isabelle will be the comic-book Isabelle who was Victoria Hand's girlfriend. Isabelle comes to Coulson looking to get revenge on Ward for killing Hand and both Isabelle and Ward go through an "arc" where Isabelle eventually forgives Ward which then allows them to integrate Ward back into the "heroes". Or Isabelle puts a bullet through his head and assumes his earlier role in the show as a kick-azz SHIELD agent!

is there any other SHIELD agent from the comic that could be brought in? I mean they already have Lucy Lawless and Mocking Bird which should attract some new fans to the show....

Quite a few options (and I'm not sure this is an exhaustive list):

But, most of the major SHIELD agents are probably being kept for the Marvel movies. And I'm not sure whether they're interested, willing or able to use many "super-powered" SHIELD agents, whether due to budget restrictions (i.e. inability to show those powers), writing difficulties (i.e. it's hard to constantly think up credible threats) or because they're "mutants".

Some will be seen in Agent Carter.

They made no mention of Tripplet on the panel. While I felt he was kinda forced on the show to some extent,I hope they don't sweep him under the rug with nary a word next season.

He's been doing the rounds in the pre-S2 press, so he's still there for a little while. Would be a shame to lose him, he went through a nice progression as the season went on

If Mockingbird has a connection to Hawkeye, it doesn't necessarily have to be romantic. He could have been the one who trained her and is a mentor/big brother figure to her for example.

He was also at the premiere of GOTG.

Not sure if this got posted (apologies if it has been already), but Ming-Na was part of one of Zachary Levi's Nerd HQ panels that he does during Comic-Con

(I haven't watched it yet so I don't know what regarding AoS gets talked about, if anything at all.... but for those interested.)

"A Conversation with Badass Women Mystery Guests!"
Also part of this panel is Yvonne Strahovski, Retta, Jennifer Morrison, Sophie Turner, and Missy Peregrym

I wish that comic was in the MCUverse, have no interest in it otherwise

G'day,

Ohhh... fiddlesticks. They are not going to introduce Bobbi Morse unless they wanted a proper romantic relationship between here and Clint. Thats an established relationship in the comic and has dramatic screen potential . I expect to see Hawkeye to make a guest appearance on the show. In fact wouldn't be surprised if there's some mention of Bobbi in Avergers 2. If they wanted a more platonic relationship they would have sent Kate Bishop not Bobbi Morse. I'll go further and say if there is a Black Widow movie Clint and Bobbi could be supporting characters.

So? Your premise doesn't draw from your facts. Just because they have a relationship in the comics doesn't mean it will be used in the MCU.

I mean, if we go by Black Widow wearing that arrow pendant in The Winter Soldier, we can assume that she has some sort of relationship with Clint.

I think there's an online Agents of SHIELD tie-in comic, fwiw.

But it's the 616 comic that really counts. It also allows them to live on long after the show comes to an end. And, who knows, maybe there will be some story ideas from the comic that's so good it makes it back into the show.
