So what if they run into Dr Walter Lawson and a certain blond USAF lady officer? What makes me think something like that might happen is the rumors of Captain Marvel making a small appearance in Avengers 2. Having explained her origin in AOS she can easily pop up in any movie they make. She would be an ideal character in the next GOTU movie.

God, I hope not. Neither do I want her to be introduced in A:AOU. I would much prefer Carol Danvers' introduction to come in her own solo movie.

Personally, I don't mind if they introduce a superhero here or there, I just don't want them to become the focus of the show. The thing that appealed to me about this show was that it wasn't about the superheroes, it's about the regular people finding their way in what's now an extraordinary world. Focus and bring in too many superheroes and for me that would take away what I've liked about it (if I want to watch the superheroes at work, I'll watch the films).

That's just my view.

Certainly, the superheroes are guests only and, even then, not plot-solving devices. They're catalysts for our ordinary heroes to respond to instead.

I like Adrianne, but as Mockingbird? She's going to dwarf Hawkeye if the two ever interact or get together in this MCU continuity. I'm guessing they're never going to do that. She would tower over Jeremy Renner. I think she could easily have played someone like Valkyrie as she's now going to be one of the tallest, if not the tallest actress in the MCU.

It was David E Kelly's fault for even taking on the project in the first place. He should be kept away from CBMs. The only one he might suit is She-Hulk, which would be right up his legal alley.

Adrianne had a horrible costume in that pilot, but as Diana she looked pretty good. One thing to note was that when she was standing about in her bathrobe and in her bare feet, she still either towered over or certainly came up to the height of Steve Trevor.

So imagine her with heels now as Mockingbird. She'll be even taller than Sif, if Sif ever comes back, and wouldn't be far off of Thor's height.

Nice casting. While she's not an A-lister, she's squarely in B+ territory. I'm willing to bet a reasonable amount of internet monies that her contract has a few movie options.

Renner and Palicki sitting on a tree... and so on.

Yeah she was hardly the big problem with either WW or GI Joe 2. No one could have made that pilot work as written. I wonder if she'll have any kind of connection to Hawkeye? It doesn't even have to be romantic. He could be her mentor/the guy who trained her, or an older brother-type figure, or something like that. Oh and can she please have a costume, pretty please?
