So, should we start taking bets on when we're going to meet the other Ward brother, Thomas?
Ratings ticked up again but now another break.![]()
It's the season finale of Dancing with the Stars. My guess is some sort of Holiday special....Probably related to Country music.
Skye's mom's vivisection was disturbing. I was surprised we saw something that graphic on this show. Nobody can claim they're holding their punches now.
I was a bit confused by what Whitehall actually did to de-age. Did he take the lady's organs and implant them on himself, or just bodily fluids?... that guy is truly sick. Love it.
This episode was excellent. It's going to be a long wait once they go on hiatus.

Didn't click that the asian lot might have been the chinese village from Skye's background. Works, but then negates the whole "her dad killed the whole village" angle. (admittedly I was very drunk and tired while watching it).
P.S thanks Dr Evil for the info.
Right, as it turns out Hydra slaughtered the village and framed Skye's dad.

To add to this post of mine.... let's throw the sister into the question as well (Season 1 Episode 19 "The Only Light in the Darkness", Koenig asks Ward to list his immediate family, Ward's response "Two parents, a sister, two brothers.")So, should we start taking bets on when we're going to meet the other Ward brother, Thomas?
I didnt think skye's father looked de-aged at all. If he's able to hold the diviner that implies he and skye's mother are one in the same, meaning he wouldnt age either...
Its quite disturbing what whitehall did to skye's mom though![]()
At any rate, with the reveal that Skye's Mom was... "special" (whether Inhuman, or Eternal, or whatever), and that her Dad apparently doesn't have the same long-lived ability, I'm starting to think that Skye's Dad is (by comparison) relatively "normal". Granted, he's still a "monster" but that doesn't necessarily make him something other than human.Despite looking human, Eternals are much more long-lived (but were not originally fully immortal) and that kept them from having much contact with their human cousins. Eternals have a low birth rate; they can interbreed with humans but the result is always a normal human...
Experiments performed by Kree scientists on a captured Eternal led them to go to Earth and perform their own genetic experiments on a group of humans, thus creating the Inhumans...
While Zuras ruled, three new Eternal cities were built. The first was Olympia, located in the mountains of Greece... The other two Eternal cities were Polaria (located in Siberia) and Oceana (in the Pacific).
I don't see why they waited this long to get the first season to Netflix. I think a lot more people would have watched this season had the first one been up before season 2 started.

The mad doc was definitely digitally de-aged just like Xavier and Magneto in X3. You really couldn't see that?
Regarding Skye's mom and her not aging. I think the question (that I don't think we have a clear answer to yet) is what caused her not to age? Was it something already part of her - a unique ability to her alone already at work in 1945 or was it something that was a result of being "accepted" and instilled in her by the Obelisk/Diviner when Reinhardt/Whitehall forced her to touch it? If it's the latter - then Skye's dad might have not had the long-lived ability at that point because he hadn't touched the Obelisk yet???At any rate, with the reveal that Skye's Mom was... More and more it's sounding a lot like Inhumans.

There's no doubt we'll see Ward's other brother at some point. Why not save him for season three? Honestly, Ward is the best character this side of James Spader's Red on the Blacklist. Where this show shines above that one is that AOS has multiple cool and complex characters.
Anyway, I thought they would be looking for the city for the rest of the season at a minimum. Instead, BAM let's do it now!!!!
I know it would be committing an entire big budget production team from the Inhumans movie to something already seen but are they going to show Attilan???
They used expensive CGI de-aging on Skye's father in that "25 years earlier" flashback. This is by far the best looking show on TV. Maybe they can do it at least at a glance?
Wouldn't it be massively cool if Marvel broke Inhumans casting news by having someone like Vin Diesel as Blackbolt suddenly appear on the midseason finale of a TV show??? That tops any press release. Marvel surprises at every turn, could they keep such a thing a secret?
was anyone else taken aback by how gruesome the surgery scene was? That caught me off guard lol.
Beware....Beware the power......
This guy didn't get the memo....
