hahaha. I'd rather have Bobbi all to myself. Think of what she'll do to me despite her hate and love relationship with Hunter. "Don't die out there, okay?" Is probably what she would say to me before she eats me alive. lol... naw, she wouldn't eat me like that. Otherwise, she'd be a zombie and I hate Zombies...

Am I the only one thinking Jemma Simmons will come out as a lesbian? Think of her reaction to Fitz's admission of love. Think of her reactions to men generally. They advance to a certain level then stop or reverse.

Joss Whedon is behind the show. Remember what he did with Willow on Buffy? There was sweet , nerdy Willow with a boy friend. Then she becomes a lesbian Wiccan witch. Ladies and gentlemen prepare for another Whedon bait & switch.

If SHIELD could steer clear of teenage angst drama then it will be all the better. Characters coming out as lesbian just adds unnecessary drama in a show about spies

.... well that's insanely small minded and ignorant. I dont see you complaining about Fitz's angst over Simmons, or Bobbi and Hunters drama....

Shows dont need to have a character struggling to come out any more (hell buffy barely even did that) all you have to do wiuld be to have simmons say she likes girls (or doesnt like boys and wam... thats it) not saying they should with thst character per say... but news flash... adults have a difficult time figuring themselves out too

None of that stopped Whedon turning Willow into a lesbian in Buffy. Also gay characters are common in comics. The Young Avengers has several. Apparently it wins you points with social commentators.

Frankly it would piss me off , I would much rather have an original out gay character but iy would be the old Whedon bait & switch, so don't be surprised if it happens.

Bobbi prefers men. That was recently shown with her passionate interaction with Hunter. I can see some sapphic under tones between the two (which just supports by guess) but doubt anything is going to happen. They will find another girl for Simmons.

This is a show about spies, and a team. It's not a sitcom. The FitzSimmons stuff is the worst part of the show imo, and the Hunter/Bobbi thing feels played out before it started (that at least gave some humour when it started)

Except you miss the point of why the shows interesting... the spies are all grounded and feel human in a world that is anything but "normal" that contrast drives the show and always has. Its also why everyone hated the 1 dimensional ward of season 1

Exactly and I don't think anyone was saying Bobbi was gay either. Even if Simmons was interested in Bobbi doesn't mean she would also be. Again though all hypothetical.

Except that May and Ward have hooked up a few times.
Skye hooked up once.
Ward is obsessed/in love with Skye.
Coulson saved the girlfriend he left behind.
Bobbi and Hunter have hooked up.
Fitz is in love with Simmons.

But...for some reason...if one character is gay then it is suddenly not allowed because this is a spy show?? Come on...
