I think guest appearance style crossover would make the most sense (e.g., Daredevil in AoS, Coulson in Daredevil). Certainly, a connected plot wouldn't work well.

Yeah I can see that. At least a mention or two that Luke and Danny were approached by Shield for reason or other.

Where ya been Hiding Ralph? lol

Dangit, I keep forgetting these hotel computers won't let you use the right click on the mouse.

The new Howling Commandos of S.H.I.E.L.D. (monsters) is called S.T.A.K.E. There's a symbol they use in the comics and I made a detailed one but can't load it here

could do an inter connected plot around a release binge watch day, the logistics are not that different from a film release day. saying that after the age of ultron stuff if its going to create nonsense they are right not to force it.

Sure, but the Netflix shows are the least connected to the movies. Even Jessica Jones could take place at any point after the first Avengers film.

Would be cool to have Claire Temple show up in AoS.

I'm guessing Slingshot drops by in Season 3B this coming March.

The only problem, to me, is that the Netflix characters are legitimately small potatoes. Certainly, Daredevil is (Kilgrave might present something that would have gotten their attention but, even then, they tend to worry about superpowers with global implications). The question is how to fit it naturally without coming off as a small world syndrome.

Jessica Jones spoilers but in terms of linking to the greater MCU I think we are starting to see the shift in public opinion:

In AKA Ladies Night we have the strip club owner saying "You're one of them! One of the freaks!" when he recognizes Jessica's power. Then in AKA 99 Friends we have a couple of want-to-be vigilantes trying to kill Jessica because of The Incident. I think this points towards the public opinion post BoNY and Sokovia.

SHIELD has zero interest in Wilson Fisk or Kilgrave and I doubt that they would be interested in Black Mariah and Cottonmouth, so I don't know a crossover with the Netflix heroes would work without it being forced.

If they want the crossovers to happen, it has to come naturally. Look for example at what NBC does with The Chicago Trilogy of Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and now Chicago Med. Those characters cross over onto each other's shows all of the time and it seems very flawless and natural. This is what has to happen between Agents of SHIELD and the Netflix shows.

Right now, I don't see how a crossover happens without it being forced.

Just a correction: Kilgrave was a dangerous gifted, so SHIELD would definitely have taken interest in him if only they had a clue that he existed. Which they didn't, in large part due to Kilgrave's ability to remain out of the spotlight despite his numerous atrocities.

Still though, any crossover between SHIELD and Netflix would have to come naturally and not forced.

Oh, I certainly didn't disagree from this, and I'd even extend it to AoS/movies crossovers as well, because the Age of Ultron crossover from last season felt a lot like they were doing it for the sake of doing it, which ended up feeling pretty meh to me.

NBC's Chicagoverse shows has the benefit of being done by the same production team, while AoS and the Marvel Netflix shows are from different crews (despite Marvel and ABC Studios developing both).

Possible Civil War spoilers.

A S.H.I.E.L.D. lanyard? Looks like the film may actually feature S.H.I.E.L.D. on some level. Surely Koenig can't be far off if there's a lanyard. :p

That's fan made and is not something official from the film. The person who originally posted it to reddit admitted as much.

Huh. It's getting posted all over the place.

Here. given that they talk about the original being 'blurry' they were probably basing it off of what was briefly shown in the trailer:

https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelstud...vanced_copy_from_a_contact_in_wakanda/cxiyhlh

The original was too blurry to read, so I made something up that was really good. But it didn't fit. So I had to keep chopping away it until it fit and roughly matched the text block on the original prop.
I think elsewhere in the comments of the main thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelstud...t_an_advanced_copy_from_a_contact_in_wakanda/) they mention that they got the lanyard on Etsy

And it wouldn't be the first time fan made content gets passed around as the real deal.

Oh, I wasn't disputing it at all. Just commenting that the fake was getting a decent bit of mileage.

That said, I'd love it if a Koenig brother popped up. The world needs more Patton Oswalt.
