*crosses fingers for 'Melinda Maye is MCU version of Carol Danvers' theory*

Fingers crossed for a Dr. Lawson.

Project Pegasus was in TA, so we know that SHIELD is involved in monitoring deep space threats. The facility in New Mexico imploded but Lawson could work at another research center. It would be a neat tie-in to GOTG.

I remember the part in bold like it was yesterday. Ahh, Heroes, what could have been... :(

So I finally just watched this. It was pretty good, with some new clips from the show. The mention of [BLACKOUT]Gamma Radiation[/BLACKOUT] may be the reason that one kid posted a video that he thinks [BLACKOUT]The Leader[/BLACKOUT] is a big-bad in Season 1.

Also, they re-emphasize the globe-trotting nature of the show. I'm going to say it again: I'd love for them to go to the Savage Land, and even some other Marvel Universe locales if they can (with the film rights all over the place, I don't know if they could use Madripoor, Latveria, etc.). Where else could they go? Wundagore?

.....and they see something that looks like 'animals' flying on some strange vehicles? :cwink:

Explain it to me: what part of Ms Marvel's backstory requires her to be a 20-something blonde?

nothing, but what would be the point in changing everything about the character from race, age and even her name?

Whoa! Is that normal for this sort of thing? That's upwards of four or five full seasons.

Man, I can't wait to geek out on a weekly basis over this show! :word:

A lot of creators plot out where they want their shows to go, it is just harder to actually get there.

I'm glad to know they're planning ahead though. That reduces the probability of this being a full procedural.

Also, I love this part:
So how is Coulson back from the dead?
That's one of the central mysteries of the show — but Gregg did drop a hint. He said that when he was told his character was back, after dying in The Avengers, he wanted to make sure his resurrection wasn't something that would undermine that story. "And then Joss told me [how I'm back], and it was horrendously cool and dark," says Gregg. We'll learn more about this mystery over the course of the first season.

I hate that one of the main characters is "Melinda May," a martial arts expert. Sigh, stereotyping. :whatever:

Yeah...Up until now i have found the characters very generic, the Trailer didn't sell me either, looked a little too cheap. Hope Joss Whedon doesn't disapoint though.

They should have made it like in the real world where Asian people never ever practice martial arts under any circumstances.

Yeah, and where American Women dress like cowgirls and have massive boobs, american men are black gangsters or blonde womanizers who dress the american flag in their clothes or where everybody carries a weapon.

If you want to go through Stereotyping realism that is :o

Guys Michael Symon for Lex Luthor :o the guy can really cook up an evil scheme. See what I did there. They seriously have people from the chew interviewing these actors? Hahaha

So I was at the MVA today, and there was a girl in front of me in line getting her learners permit named Melinda Mae. Seriously! (she was a white 16 year old, though, not a foxy Asian lady :csad: )

Just thought I would share...

"i think the relationships..."

:whatever:

What's your beef? Any continuous interaction between a set of characters is a relationship. It's not trying to set it up as a romantic show.

Character relationships?! KILL ME NOW!!!!

Stereotyping? She's a freaking SPY. The character would be exactly the same whether she was Black, White or Asian.

Can't wait for this! Why does it have to be over two weeks away!
