Is Gawker even reliable? I mean, what is Gawker anyway? :o

The site that got banned from Apple events for leaking that iPhone 4 that got lost in a bar. Or, one of its branches, Gizmodo, did anyway.

Good question. I doubt the info, thought. Cant deny it of course but i doubt it. Whedon didnt give such great responsability to his own brother and sister in law if he didnt trust them with job and where his sort of eyes and ears there, with enough comunication between both to have a wider presence in it. Besides, they are good writers on their own, more so when working under or with big brother.

But thats just a laymans opinion... Many things could happen behind ANY scenes, and showbusiness aint my business.

And now for something completely diferent... and no, i dont mean John Cleese exploding. 5 short sneek peaks into SHIELD AGENTS Of.

Apologies if somebody already posted them. :yay:

I wonder if they’ll actually mention as to whether the other Avengers are aware of the fact that Coulson is alive or if they’re still in the dark about it.

Heck, I’d like to hear on what Coulson’s thoughts would be about the mess in SHIELD’s infrastructure and its politics that’ll be brought up in the “Winder Soldier”.

A page one rewrite an hour before the table read? For an hour long program he'd have to write like a page a minute, not including printing for everyone. Maybe it's just poorly worded.

Maybe it's just a lie.

I certainly hope that Skye and Ward aren't as annoying in the whole episode as they were in those clips. Skye's "organization" seems like it's just her in a trashy van doing the pirate radio bit. There must be more to it than that if Coulson wanted to recruit her. Ward has a bit of an attitude for someone being called up from the minors to the big league. Maybe he gets and attitude adjustment when he sees how different dealing with superbeings is from busting minor thugs.

I think if Maria Hill stays with SHIELD after Cap 2, nothing will happen. I think that's the way they will go....or Hill replaces Fury. They are not going to dramatically change the show by having HYDRA agents replace both Hill and Fury as well as infiltrating SHIELD.

So it'll probably be Hill replacing Fury as director.

Actually, those are the aspects that interest me more. I havent seen the pilot, mind you, so im just making assumptions from the trailers i have seen, but it really gives the vibe of Avengers Junior, and not in a bad way.

I mean, Whedons line when he was filming Avengers and promoting it was that one of the things that interested him more was that Avengers was a story about a team made up by people who where not team players, at all. Even the one that probably was, Captain America, was in a bad situation himself of being a walking anachronism doubting being up to the task, and therefore too much of an outsider. One of the things i loved about the avengers was seeing this group of individuals becoming a team, each of them very naturally and for his own reason, at least thats what i thought about it. I liked the movie quite a lot.

In a way, we have a specialist that does not like to be in a team, an idealist hacker who also confesses not being a team player, and a field agents who wants to be in an office and so much far away from the field as posible.

About the two scientist, i dont know, but that makes three out of five people entering a team who actually neither want not really believe thay were made to work in one. And there is Coulson, the Fury character (i dont expect it to be that literal), the one that believes they can make a kickass team with the right push.

That sort of Avengers team sort, adapted to a spy group, to me, being one of the elements i think were great in the movie, explored week after week in long form with all the dramatic detail it can unfold... Well that i am really liking a lot.

Again, maybe that will be sorted out in five minutes or one episode and the series will go in a completely diferent direction... But from where im standing NOW, it sounds quite atractive to me.

And :For the first time, members of the Television Critics Association are putting together something of a united front on the new fall season. An inaugural polling of the 220-plus journalists recently dubbed ABC's Agents of SHIELD the most promising new fall series.

Has an actress been cast as Reyes?

Cool. Definitely keeping their promise with the "globetrotting" pitch. Is [BLACKOUT]Reyes[/BLACKOUT] from the comics?

Oh, and:

:awesome:

I know it won't happen in a TV show, but it's the first thing that came to mind when I read [BLACKOUT]Peru.[/BLACKOUT]

Closest I could find...

http://marvel.com/universe/Reyes,_Cecilia

When she was only six years old, Puerto Rican Cecilia Reyes saw her father gunned down in a drive-by shooting. From that moment on, she dedicated her life to becoming a medical doctor. Soon after achieving her goal, her latent mutant powers awakened and she sought help from Charles Xavier, founder of the X-Men. He invited Reyes to join the X-Men but she declined, wanting to instead to continue working as a trauma surgeon at the Our Mother Mercy Hospital in New York City's South Bronx.

There's a lot of similarities (South/Central American connection, last name), but a lot of differences too (Trauma surgeon instead of military affiliation, different first name, etc.)...

So, who knows?

EDIT: Parsing through the info about her, found that she has a brother (Miguel Reyes) who is a Colonel in the US military! http://marvel.wikia.com/Miguel_Reyes_(Earth-616)

Could they be combing the two characters?

Hmm... interesting. Could be something, could just be a coincidence. Either way, good catch. Although, isn't she affiliated with the X-Men?

If the character is a mutant the rights to use her in a TV show would belong to Fox rather than Marvel.

Aren't the TV rights and Movie rights to diff things?

Sony has the Spidey movie rights but Marvel uses him in their TV shows.

Not sure how that works

Well both Michael Jai White and Summer Glau are on Arrow this upcoming season :(

I just watched Fast 6 and this shot made me want Dwayne Johnson to play Cage SO BAD! He just looks exactly like him

Ray park is too old for iron fist. The number one choice is great though. I supported him for cap too
