They might have to resort to more sinister tactics, like threatening him with the comfy chair.

That's cute and all but she's not going to get anything out of the guy that way. Quinn seems to be a lot more than Coulson and his team bargained for. He expected to be captured, expects the torture and isn't going to break.

Either way, Quinn won't be headed to Seagate Prison where Trevor Slattery and
Justin Hammer
reside

After I recovered from the initial shock of Skye getting shot, I thought I knew what she would do next: I figured she'd shoot herself with the night-night pistol she had, to induce a temporary stasis and buy herself some time for the rest of the team to find her. I mean, we had night-night guns/grenades going off so much in the episode, and people getting frozen all over the place, I figured that was the obvious way out. Instead, she tried to crawl for the door.

That's not how the night-night gun works. It administers a dose of toxin that knocks a person unconscious and causes muscle paralysis/rigidity. The toxin would be the last thing you would want to give to a person who had been shot and was near death. Had she shot herself with it the toxin would have sped up her death, not slowed it.

On second thought, it's too bad Skye didn't shoot herself with the gun. :lmao:

Lorelei already? and who are these Alpha and Beta guys? hmmm

So it looks like there is no sign of the "African American Agent who is a weapons expert" as he's likely to have been replaced by Deathlok. Garrett though is the "high-level S.H.I.E.L.D. agent/munitions expert who has past ties to both Coulson and Ward"

You keep on about "Where the Black folks at?" It's a thing with you, isn't it?

Really liked the latest episode – one of the better yet.

I want diversity on all of the TV shows I watch, so what's wrong with that? As an Asian American, I am happy to see Ming Na (and to a lesser degree since she's half Chinese) Chloe Bennett, but I want to see more diversity. I wouldn't mind seeing Jimmy Woo on the show. Before Melinda May, the Asians in the MCU were far and few between (they still are). Hell, Hogun didn't even get a Thor: The Dark World Poster while Fandral and Vostagg got theirs.

Hell, I hope Shang Chi shows up on one of the Netflix shows.

Diversity is one of my main issues with the Avengers and I will keep harping on it until Marvel Studios fixes the problem.

So what's wrong with me wanting a little diversity?

I don't know why Ward should blame Coulson.Personally,I blamed Fitz for letting her go.(Yeah,I don't know how he'd stop her short of shooting her with the night-night gun,but still...)

Anyone else find it odd that Fitz seems to have the least reaction to Skye's "dying"?I mean,Simmons cries,Ward's angry,May & Coulson are anxious--and Fitz (who is supposed to have a mad crush on her) has the stiff upper lip of the bunch.

Nothing at all wrong with it. But the sheer frequency at which you post about it can feel... overwhelming.

I'll stop posting about that certain topic, but I am not going to stop posting about lack of diversity on the Avengers until

James Rhodes comes out of Age of Ultron not killed off or they add Falcon to the team to offset the potential loss of Rhodey so that they won't do the Hollywood thing and kill off "the one black guy" because they have another one on the team at the same time as Rhodes.

I was disappointed that they killed off Agent Chen and Scorch in the "Girl with the Flower Dress." Both would have made for nice recurring characters.

Ward is going to blame Coulson because he's the "leader" that and he's now jealous of him because of the whole bandage moment with him and May...

He will cause friction with the group, everyone will learn about their extra-curricular activities, Skye will get hurt because she's grown to have feelings for Ward, and Ward will either ...

A) briefly leave the team
B) leave the team for good
C) die

Or
D) Turn heel (which I think is the most likely)

Upon rewatch of the episode and...again...seeing the preview for the next episode, the folder at the beginning of promo for ep 14 looks to say "Classified Security Level 10 or above"

Gee..... and at the beginning of the series we thought Level 7 was such a big deal :oldrazz: *lol*

Has this series gotten any better? I honestly haven't seen since that episode where some woman had bionic eyes that the villians were using to control her. I really had little interest after that bc the show was so disappointment, but its been a while now and things may have turned around for all I know

The last 3 episodes were solid, gives me hope for the future of the show.
Might even purchase the boxset if they build up the Deathlok character a bit... Heh...

What was Fitz supposed to do, cry? He has never seemed the type for that, not over a "crush." Fitz had his hands full with Simmons, anyway. Now when it was her in danger he got upset, both in FZZT and in yesterday's episode. It was cute when he fretted over Jemma's little face, then shot the thug a couple more times for her. :awesome:

Ward is the least likely member of that crew to go rogue. He's too much of a bland, by-the-book company guy for that. Plus it would take him days to pull that gigantic stick out of his ass first. :funny:

I expected some kind of reaction. He had none whatsoever. It seemed extremely noticeable. When Skye "sold them out" to her "boyfriend" he took it fairly personal. Here,it barely registers.

Yeah, you're probably right. They are setting up some conflict between him and Coulson for some purpose.I don't think it's to kill him off though.

It's to generate interpersonal conflict, something the show's been in real need of for some time. Ensemble shows work better when everybody *isn't* "on the same page."

Plus, Coulson raked Ward over the coals about the whole May deal, so Ward is probably still stinging from that. *And* from Coulson seeming to get touchy-feely with May during the bandage fetish scene. *And,* primarily, because he blames Coulson directly for putting a still untrained, unproven petite flower in harm's way yet again, possibly getting her killed.

It's nice that they're finally addressing what can happen when untrained people are put into dangerous situations but it really makes Coulson look like a chump.
