I wouldn't consider it a break because we get that MCU special in its place.I might be a bit late to this, but there's ANOTHER two week break? Ugh.

22 episodes for the season, so 7 left. I'm assuming they want the finale to air possibly some time during May sweeps. So I think after this next 2 week break (1 week if you forgive them for the Marvel: Assembling a Universe special that's on next week) for the most part we'll probably get the remaining 7 uninterrupted*How many more episodes do we have left? are they doing 22 or 23 for the season?
Has anyone wondered if that body is tied to the Guardians of the Galaxy movie?
After all if Peter Quill was adopted back in the eighties when an operation there resulted in the death of his mother (speculation not spoiler) he accompanied the alien visitors (assuming Yondu) and a few of those who arrived was either killed or disabled resulting in that unfortunate Kree/Eternal/Inhuman ending up in the GH facility...
How likely is this?
It can't be, because according to Sif, Yondu never visited Earth![]()
As long as it's not Mar Vel. That would be a huge waste.I think it is likely.
I think it would be awesome if the alien was a Kree and another great way to tie the Guardians Of The Galaxy to the rest of the MCU.
When she mentioned all blue alien races. She talked about how the Aesir stopped the Jotuns from conquering Earth, then Coulson asked if one of the other blue alien races visited Earth recently to which she answered that none other, except the Frost Giants, ever visited Earth.Really? When did she say that?

So: no Yondu
Of course, Sif is not her brother.
Sadly, Heimdall wasn't available for Coulson. He had to settle with Sif.Well, Sif might not be the best person to ask that question; Heimdall would be a lot more knowledgeable about the subject of aliens traveling to Earth.
But Heimdall is STILL the Asgardian Door man. He can't leave his post for long let alone traveling across the galaxy lolWell, Sif might not be the best person to ask that question; Heimdall would be a lot more knowledgeable about the subject of aliens traveling to Earth.
Either the Asgardians were unaware of Yondu's 80s trip, or else it wasn't considered significant enough that Heimdall might have mentioned it to Sif (for whatever reason).

Have faith my UK brethren, we get AoS again later this month!
I don't know if anyone caught a particular shot in the "Assembling a Universe" promo for next week, but it looks like The Bus is paying a visit to one of the helicarriers, which is awesome.
I've had an introductory class or two on computer graphics, and I'd actually expect the repulsor version to be (slightly) more complex to animate (or at least requiring more CPU time), because now your dealing with transparency and new diffuse lighting sources and all the shadows that creates. Making something spin is rather mundane in comparison. It depends too on whether they can reuse models and textures from either TA or CATWS.I wonder if it'll actually take flight. Probably not, due to budget reasons, but it might not be as expensive an effect as an Avengers-era helicarrier, since the Winter Soldier versions seem to use repulsor tech (Or something similar) for the engines, which would be cheaper to animate than the complex set of spinning rotors.
Granted, I know very little about cgi and special effects. Nevertheless, it'll be great to see a helicarrier on the show.
I'm getting there.
I will still be pedantic about the skull cap until I see it but I'm already humbled that the prevailing theory concerning the progressive transformation of Peterson into Deathlok was correct.
Wearing body armour too. Still no skull cap, though I think I saw metal under his skin in the other promo a little while back (look like he'd been shot in the head or something).
Found the other thing I saw suggesting the metal skull cap might come into play soon enough (could well be under his skin there already).

In the newer shot his left eye looks a little red as well (maybe)?
In terms of making him look like more like the comic deathlok the right hand side of his face being scarred up and the left side with the metal exposed would be more accurate. Hope they go that route at any rate.
