IMO, if it wasn't for the first Alice, I'd be a whole lot angrier when people talk s*** about Burton. Even if his stuff for the past decade or so hasn't matched up to his early work, I still like almost all of it. I like his Charlie and the Chocolate Factory almost as much as the one with Gene Wilder. His POTA might have a crap story and miscasts, but the visuals and make-up were damn good. His stop motion movies? Great. Sweeney Todd? Great.
But Alice... ugh. Piss poor visuals, story not worth remembering, Johnny Depp doing some dumb ass dancing. Pass.
