Alien: Isolation Pre-Order Shows Up for Steam, 25% Off at GMG
Remember when back in October news broke that 20th Century Fox trademarked Alien: Isolation? Well, we got another glimpse of the title with yesterdays announcement by Sega and developer The Creative Assembly at CES 2014. The survival horror action game is slotted to be released some time in late 2014 on all major platforms except for the Wii U. (Given how the last Alien-based game turned out, fans of the franchise are right to be a bit nervous.)
With yesterdays announcement, the games details and description have now shown up on the Steam Store, although without pricing info or the ability to pre-order. Not wanting to miss out on announcement hype, UK-based retailer GMG is already taking pre-orders for Alien: Isolation - whats more, theyre throwing in a 25% off coupon incentive to earn your pre-order dollars. This will drop the price from the $49.99 MSRP to only $37.50. The coupon code will work until January 10th at 8AM Pacific.
