Blood's a cult leader with delusions of adequacy. Shaw was a backroom leader of a good chunk of worldwide industry or at least had a hand in world wide deals. Also, he makes the shirtless sash combo work somehow. I don't know of too many people that could pull that off like he does.

Hey, Wolfie, in honor of the current comic headlines, you should totally run a tournament of all the big changes, twists, and retcons over the years that were supposed to "ruin the character forever"!

Most of these are going to be retcons that would normally get voted against, or just not voted for either way. In order for this to work, you guys are supposed to vote for the worst of the two. Cause its a tournament of retcons, and I couldn't find as many good retcons as I could find the bad, dumb, terrible ones.

So at the end of this, we can see which retcon was so God awful, more than the others, you are voting for the one that's just more than the others.

The Clone Saga x Wolverine & Sabretooth are Homo Lupine

Marvel established that the Peter Parker we've known throughout half his entire post-Spider-Man life was actually a clone and the real Peter was a guy named Ben Reilly who thought himself the clone. This retcon would get retconned, then retconned again, then again...

When Jeph Loeb wasn't single-handedly ruining the entire Hulk brand, he revealed that Wolverine, Sabretooth, Wolfsbane, Feral, Wild Child, Romulus (who? Exactly...but laaaater), The Native, and etc. where not just mutants, but were a branching species of wolf-mutants who during their existence hated members of their own sub-species based on hair color...a trait Wolverine & Sabretooth would inherit, because apparently all this time they hated each other on impulse because Logan is brunet and Victor, blond, has more fun...

Wolverine being a dog mutant, because:

A) No one talks about that Lupine sh&%. No one WANTS to talk about that Lupine sh&%. People acknowledge the Clone Saga at least.

B) The Clone Saga reset all its mess back to normal, where Peter was Peter, Ben was the clone after all, and it didn't matter. The dog-mutant/we hate each other cause of hair color bullsh&% was not undone. Not talked about? Sure...but not undone...

C) The Clone Saga gave us Kaine...

Blond-Brunet Lupants were the worst.

I used to live with a friend who lived on the bottom floor. I was upstairs in my room reading this story's TPB, and before I could finish, I took it downstairs, and threw it into his room, door open, with him in his room not expecting a book to come flying in, and yelled "You can have that piece of sh&%..."

That happened for real. I literally walked back to my room saying nothing more.

I know Earth X did something similar but it made a tiny bit more sense than that crap. It still made no damn sense but you could at least follow the logic in the story.
