That was awesome, but I changed it a little to make it more brutal.

I almost did it that way, but I had a hard time believing that the walls would be so thin that Batman could throw the Joker through them, or that the Joker would still be conscious after Batman did it.

Still, it would be bad-ass if he did.

yepXD.....and i liked it, lol, sry....its just i dont want more of that on the movies...i´d like this movie to be the best comic book adaptation there is...and if its going to be the best there is...for me at least...no ¨rescue the girl¨ thing at the end ...but the rest of the post i liked it, the rest was a good idea =D

Will the pursuit of the semi lead to some abandoned (or in-use)amusement park where the Joker is headquartered? Maybe. Right now, it's all speculation.

The only thing that raises doubt is that I get the impression from the set reports is that is chase is going to be the scene that results in the destruction of the Tumbler.

NoirMan hinted at the thing getting blown to hell in his final report. It may have been one his reports but someone definitely said something about Joker standing near the trailer door with an RPG. My guess was that the Joker is going to get away in that scene.

There would be some suggestions that would have to be added, but for the most part I'm ok with the Joker fighting Batman at the carnival.

Just a big, massive fight around Gotham - Vigilante Vs. Psycho.

I just hope Nolan doesn't use Dawes as a selling point for the fight.

oh how i'd love to see batman swinging around, or rachel tied down to a train on a wooden roller coaster. and the joker and his men crashing large things into the support structure of the ride. or at least the henchmen squaring off with batman on the train as it goes over hills and through turns, all the while joker wears a conductor hat. well... that might be too much.

If this isn't even going to be in the movie, I apologize in advance for even suggestion it and getting everyone's hopes up.

But don't worry, we'll have Mr. Thau do a CGI scene-please for us if Nolan doesn't even put it in the film.

Well with the "Slaughter is the best medicine" gag on the semi--which, by the way, bears signs that it belongs to an amusement park, is it possible we'll get an amusement park confrontation such as the one in DKR?

Will the pursuit of the semi lead to some abandoned (or in-use)amusement park where the Joker is headquartered? Maybe. Right now, it's all speculation. But seeing as TDK is using the Killing Joke as a reference for Ledger, chances are, we'll be seeing Joker in some sort of theme park environment (like in the comic).

There could even be a fight in a House of Mirrors. That would be interesting. Symbolists will go crazy over the references of "multiple personalities." Yeah, yeah.

And there's even opportunities for Goyer to write those wonderful one-liners that we all love!

Now the question is: Would YOU like an amusement park confrontation?

I thought I read on this board that a house of mirrors set has been built at Cardington. I looked, but I couldn't find the post. It might've been on another board, but I'm not really sure.

It was Soulpunx who mentioned that back in May, it's what got me all giddy when Joker's truck first showed up

FYI, apparently the hangers in Cardington are now housing part of a fairground, and in particular, a hall of mirrors. Oooooh.

i think most ppl here have succukbed to peer pressure on the amusement park thing. I had that comic btw. I dont think amusement park should be used (but it may well be and rely on same style of CGi as the train in BB). Final destnation 3 did the amusement park thing and it only had so much mileage as the rollercoaster is too fast for teh screen etc.
Our Joker is a complex, dark, creep, sick SOB and I dont think hed be hiding out in an amusmeent park or go there for TDK
I think he will have his own Lair ..somewhere else

As much distaste I have for the damsel sometimes, I think in this case it may be necessary as a plot device. However it doesn't mean they couldn't do it in a more creative way.

As an example...In the second season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel kills the librarian's love interest, Jenny. This is done with no witnesses. Later in the show the librarian, Giles, comes home to find his house lit with candles, roses everywhere, and romantic music playing. He assumes that this is something Jenny has set up for him. He goes upstairs expecting to find her. He does find her, but her neck has been snapped and her eyes just stare off into oblivion. The set up was all an elaborate trick, set up by the villain. Furthermore Giles is even later suspected by the police for killing Jenny himself.

Obviously that's not how I'm proposing Joker off Rachel. But as you said, setting up the death so that Batman can't save her would be really awesome and quite daring for what is a mainstream movie.
