The Dark Knight All signs lead to an amusement park confrontation

Sounds like a good climax, the Joker will have the upper hand and a ton of toys to play with. They could have his jeering voice echoing through the park over the speakers

Joker could turn on the rides as distractions. Plus, he'll blend right into the environment, like Batman in darkness.

yeah id love to see a showdown at an amusement park , If its at the hangers - cool ( they have to recycle those leftover over wonka vans some how lol ) I'll take a trip out to the hangers to see whats around in the parking area . Thats all you can see really that and a huge field .

Not that im jealous at all of all the folk in Chicago , seeing all the action
joker truck !, tumbler! , batpod! and of course heath on his board , when i can look at the large hanger and the field .

We'll be expecting daily updates on the length of the grass and the weather. It's back there soon :csad:

A couple of people saw the Batpod in London near where the Batsuit pics were taken, although it was over before we realised

It's really the only appropriate place for a Batman/Joker showdown. Much better than a goddamn clock tower.

Love the amusement park, I just hope they don't make the Joker too much like a clown, unless it's Pennywise.
Looks like they got it right this time though.

The disney store, most evil place in the world

I love the showdown at the amusement park idea. Totally makes sense for if they are trying for the ulitmate Joker story. I heard they are filming at the Brach's candy factory. Maybe they should do some shooting at Six Flags. LOL!!

Been wondering where Brachs factory comes in, if at all. The only place I've heard it mentioned is with some photos someone took on a factory tour. Could be part of the park I suppose

I thought they were "blowing up" the candy factory.

I'm betting that's his first hideout. Probably shown somewhere in the middle.

Hey, what if Joker blows it up himself? He finds the abandoned carnival and blows up his old hideout in favor of "better housings."

hehe , yes i can manage that , no problem . Well, weather wise it was stormy in hanger land today and then some .

Yeah the The Farmiloe Building location where , the batsuit pictures were taken is interesting as they used the inside for jim gordons offices in begins , i dont think you ever really saw the entrance of Gotham City Policein begins , only the rooftop . I think its so cool how Chris Nolan and team are using all the locations in Chicago and then blending them back with work in London and the hangers .

I think the hangers could easily hold a fair ground/ amusement set and then some , the narrows set in begins just occupied a small part , pretty amazing really .

i see those as two different things. Ghost Rider is in no way, shape, or form realism, nor could it ever be confused as being realism - or realist, or realistic, or whatever. it's a supernatural story with supernatural characters. FF and SM-3 suffered from poor writing. nothing more and nothing less.

I am talking about grounding the MATERIAL, taking it seriously, making it more identifiable instead of mindless popcorn entertainment with an overuse of CGI.

And FF suffered from much more than poor writing. Try poor direction (no unique vision) and casting.

I want the final battle to be this..this would make it one of the most amazing batman films of all time.

i think most ppl here have succukbed to peer pressure on the amusement park thing. I had that comic btw. I dont think amusement park should be used (but it may well be and rely on same style of CGi as the train in BB). Final destnation 3 did the amusement park thing and it only had so much mileage as the rollercoaster is too fast for teh screen etc.
Our Joker is a complex, dark, creep, sick SOB and I dont think hed be hiding out in an amusmeent park or go there for TDK
I think he will have his own Lair ..somewhere else

Lmaol. Dude, it's not peer pressure and this isn't Final Destination 3. This is the 'Dark Knight'. Get FD3 out of your mind, I don't even know why you bring it up. Two completely different tones... have you ever seen an old abandoned amusement park? Some of them are REALLY creepy! Places you wouldn't want to be at night! Plus, Joker can 'play' with Batman by turning on the "rides" one by one- we never know where the Joker is... he blends in. He isn't the type of villain who would have a dark creepy lair, that's just not the Joker man.

The amusement park suits Joker's psyche as well. It's dark, it's vibrant and it takes something "nice" and twists it into being a sick joke.

It would be played up as a much darker and sinister enviroment. Hell, it would be awesome if it rained! That would completely set the perfect mood: Creepy amusement park, night and raining.... HORROR! :woot:

Guys, imagine a place like this at night:

Eerie clouds, fog, night, rain and the whole nine yards- it would be EPIC!!!! And beyond dark... sinister! And they're having a candy facory as well possibly? FCK YEAH!!!!

Hmmmm.

Yeah, the Joker is 'dark', but should have set a more perfect description....

The Joker would not have a dark lair, some kind of creepy underground place or plain abandoned warehouse with spider webs. That's not the Joker, that's FAR from the Joker actually. That is overly dark and gothic.

The Joker is more sadistic glee type of dark. If that makes sense? You would expect him to take up residence at candy factorys, toy factorys and amusement parks- hell, alot of the classic scenes with the Joker happens in THOSE locations. That's the Joker's psyche- everything is a sick joke. EVERYTHING IS A JOKE. That's why he is find at these places and not some lair out of some film like Texas Massacre or the cellar from Silence of the Lambs, that's too plain and dull. However, you could picture Joker though in the wax town from 'House of Wax'.

Dark, creepy and a sadistic glee of taking everything as a joke. He's vibrant dark, not serious serial killer dark.

Mr. Thau, please create CGI fog and rain amusement park Joker rule the world scene-please.
