This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]487901[/split]
Maybe they'll save that villain for the movie itself to surprise us.
They have been secretive, but I doubt they'd be able to pull this off. It would be awesome though.
If true (HR is damned legit, but you never know) then that is a pretty short list. When it comes to a big budget tent pole I can think of only a handful of female directors I could see them handing such a project to.
You know who has a good relationship with WB, was rumored to direct JL, and has been involved in comic book films?
Lana Wachowski
Maybe Jenkins will get to direct a mythologically based comic book character after all.
Are there any lesser known or left field choices in female directors that people can think of? I mean, big elbow, Jenkins... heard these and a couple of other names before. Anyone else that might be shocking or off the beaten path??i put Julie Taymor's name out there before. Anyone else come to mind?
I would love to see Michelle MacLaren direct WW if they get a female director. She has directed some amazing episodes of Breaking Bad and GoT.

Mary Harron?
What has she done that I might know? Not familiar with the name.
