Slightly off-topic, but I thought the Constantine pilot was really good. The Doctor Fate Easter egg was great and I especially liked the teasing of an eventual Zatanna appearance. The show definitely has potential and I am excited to see where it goes.

Also, it looks like Marvel is getting ready to announce stuff on Tuesday. Speculation is that a female superhero movie for May 5 2017 will be on the list just to get a jump on Wonder Woman.

If that's a major factor in it's shutdown, the Hype should be safe. A year ago I wasn't even aware of the Hype, and now I know my geeky life would be incomplete without it.

Honestly I thought ComingSoon's forums had already closed down like 5 years ago because that's the last time I visited them.

I've been *****ing about Marvel not annoucing a female Superhero movie for a while now so if they annouce one I for one will be happy. I want female heroes other than Wonder Woman to get a shot at big screen glory.

I think Keanu would make an awesome Deathstroke. He would do a lot of his own stunts and as far as age requirements go, he's 50.

They need to look at guys in their 60's. A guy like Keanu is bareyl going to feel older than Affleck's Bruce.

I wouldn't mind seeing someone like Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis, Stephen Lang, Michael Biehn or Ron Perlman.

No big budget production is going to hire Mel Gibson, Bruce Willis unfortunately has decided to not try when acting 90% of the time and Michael Biehn is a hasbeen/never was. He's not given high profile roles.

Ron Pearlman is awesome as anything and Stephen Lang is pretty good.

Except that Slade wasn't some dude in his 60's in the least when he showed up nor do I think he is now (unless they left the Vietnam origin intact?) Slade's white hair is from the serum experiment (again, I aint even sure if THAT's still in continuity) that gave him his powers. He's at best in his late 40's to maybe 50, but he's not in his 60's. When he was in NTT's in the 1980's he was a Vietnam vet, so, just extrapolating from that, he was very late 30's to early 40's. Experienced sure, but not an "old" man by any stretch. This has been a thing with Slade going back for years. You'd see people saying that Sean Connery should have played him when Connery was in his 70's. No. And Deathstroke is like a cracked mirror Capt. America. He should move like Captain America and have a physique in that ball park. Perlman and most of the others list don't have that physique and are way beyond their prime for these sort of action roles, much less as a super villain that should be as formidable as Cap was in TWS.

Has anyone seen the shape Perlman is in these days? He can't do a role like Deathstroke. Lang is slightly better, but still... Too old.

He may not want to do another DC villain, but yes, THAT is the type that you need to get for Slade Wlson, AKA Deathstroke, The Terminator (screw you Cameron... Marv and George got there first!! ). If we want to really believe in a big screen Deathstroke that can move like he did in the ARKHAM trailer, then the likes of Lang or Perlman are off the table. I get wanting Slade to be "older" but there's a distinction between that and "old". A lot of the names that come up for Deathstroke are just old.

Anyway... DeathPitt (is 50, in Fury looks over ten years younger) for the win!!!

I actually think Brad Pitt would make a kick ass Slade/Deathstroke

Ayer may have the inside line on that now. Plus people are talking about some Oscar buzz for Jolie's UNBROKEN. Offer Jolie a shot at WW, and get Pitt to come on board as a SS character.
