I usually think of filming back to back as when someone films a movie and it's sequel at the same time. Like what Richard Donner did for Superman 1 and 2, or what the Wachowskis did for the Matrix 2 and 3. But I think that would also count.

Superman 1 & 2 didn't film back to back.

They filmed simultaneously.


That said, Richard Lester did rewrite and reshoot much of '2', so I guess its also right to say they filmed back to back.

Wonderwoman and Suicide squad sequels will have to drop within the 2016-2020 span.They cant exceed 3 years before their sequel.

That means we actually have 4 unannouced movies on the DC movie slate.WW2,SS2,Superman Solo and Batman Solo.

None of them would drop in 2016 obviously.They would have to drop in 2017-2020.Thats one unaanouced movie each year btw 2017-2020.

Its impossible for a WW2/SS2 movie to drop in 2017.So the unannouced movie in 2017 will have to be a Superman or Batman solo.I think Batman due to WBs love for the character and ease for adaptation.

So the DC film rlese will go like this

2016-Batman vs Superman,Suicide Squad

2017-Wonderwoman, JusticeLeague ,Batman solo

2018-Aquaman,Flash,Suicide Squad 2,
