Jesse in Suicide Squad?

Ok. you get some serious points from me for that gif. Mario kart is awesome. Though you really should at least give Jesse a chance.

I'd imagine its a "behind the scenes" sort of role.

Speaking of Lex

Warner Bros is in discussions with Jesse Eisenberg to take the Lex Luthor character he will unveil in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and transfer the villain character to Suicide Squad.

Before people freakout...... Lex will likely be a partner of Amanda Waller and A.R.G.U.S., and will help to select the candidates of the Suicide Squad, possibly personally benefiting from their actions.

Alternatively, Lex could be whom the Suicide Squad are targeting.

So it looks like Lex is surviving BvS

Yeah, Lex is likely either a behind the scenes puppet master of the whole thing, a partner with Waller, or the antagonist/target. I don't like jumping to conclusions, but I'm gonna rule out him being a member without a shadow of a doubt.

Lex Luthor isn't the type of character you kill off, he's like Magneto in that regard.

Now that you mention it, I wonder if Amanda Waller will be in charge of A.R.G.U.S, or CADMUS, or Belle Reve in the Suicide Squad Movie.

I would think that WB broached the subject of potential sequels in their discussions with Eisenberg. Hell, I'd be surprised if it wasn't a clause in his contract.

And he chose to sign on the dotted line.

Shouldn't we as fans be excited by this news or at least potentially excited? WB said they were doing a shared Universe and they are doing just that.

I don't Lex will lead or be a member of the Suicide Squad.

Maybe a cameo appearance but I doubt he's on the team or replacing Waller.

Assuming it's true, maybe he'll fund Waller's plan(s)? Manipulate the team maybe? It's definitely an interesting thing to think about. And if he does appear, it won't be for that long.

What's his commitment to WB for playing Luthor? One picture...three...six?

That's where any appearance, cameo, what have you in SS is gonna make sense or not. I could see him doing a cameo at the end being the puppeteer or something to tie it into the bigger DCU, but a full-fledged role.

...what do I know

He most definitely wouldn't be on the team (c'mon now!), but him involved somehow makes the already intriguing concept of the Suicide Squad that much more interesting.

I'm a little lukewarm on Suicide Squad and this news has made me more interested.

How about a Batfleck cameo as well. Just Sayin.

He had mentioned in an interview during the press rounds for Rio 2 that he was (paraphrasing his comments) "Looking forward to the role for the next few years"

Ever since the announcement of the slate we have had a pretty constant amount of news. I like it, the days of long droughts may be over. (knocks on wood)

Correctomundo! Jesse definitely signed for more than one film. Lex is too big of a character to be a one thing situation. This also gives me hope of seeing Ayer direct more DC movies. :hubba

Like someone is gonna tell Lex what to do.

People thought he would die? Why?

Listen, and understand. Superman is out there. He can't be bargained with. He can't be reasoned with. He doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And He absolutely will not stop, ever, until everyone in Metropolis is dead.
