Jesse in Suicide Squad?

Ok. you get some serious points from me for that gif. Mario kart is awesome. Though you really should at least give Jesse a chance.

If Jesse is the leader, this isn't Suicide Squad.
It's the Legion of ****ing Doom.

Of course.I'd imagine its a "behind the scenes" sort of role.

Speaking of Lex

Warner Bros is in discussions with Jesse Eisenberg to take the Lex Luthor character he will unveil in Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, and transfer the villain character to Suicide Squad.
Before people freakout...... Lex will likely be a partner of Amanda Waller and A.R.G.U.S., and will help to select the candidates of the Suicide Squad, possibly personally benefiting from their actions.
Alternatively, Lex could be whom the Suicide Squad are targeting.
Lex being present =/= Lex being leader
So it looks like Lex is surviving BvS

Shouldn't we as fans be excited by this news or at least potentially excited? WB said they were doing a shared Universe and they are doing just that.
I'm a little lukewarm on Suicide Squad and this news has made me more interested. He most definitely wouldn't be on the team (c'mon now!), but him involved somehow makes the already intriguing concept of the Suicide Squad that much more interesting.
What's his commitment to WB for playing Luthor? One picture...three...six?
That's where any appearance, cameo, what have you in SS is gonna make sense or not. I could see him doing a cameo at the end being the puppeteer or something to tie it into the bigger DCU, but a full-fledged role.
...what do I know
I would think that WB broached the subject of potential sequels in their discussions with Eisenberg. Hell, I'd be surprised if it wasn't a clause in his contract.
And he chose to sign on the dotted line.

Like someone is gonna tell Lex what to do.
People thought he would die? Why?
