That script was a hot mess I understand any actor who turned down the lead. I'm having doubts that Emile Hirsh turned down anything though.

I don't want a teaser this year. The teaser needs to blow the general audience's brains out and there's such a long time till the film comes out that 100% of the focus should be on getting it totally right rather than watching the clock.

You are very right. It's Superman and Batman having a pre-battle stare down. Very classic and straight to the title. If we are to get a teaser, it should be a proper teaser. And I don't want it in the Hobbit because that's too early.

Indeed. It was a mood piece made for the fans. I would prefer the first officially released teaser be a proper teaser.

The first teaser for MoS was pretty basic and only featured a far away shot of Superman zooming into the sky. No reason to think that the first BvS teaser will be anything more than something to set the tone of the movie.

Anyone else remember the "Is this a Superman movie or 'The Deadliest Catch'" comments following that teaser?

You are very right. It's Superman and Batman having a pre-battle stare down. Very classic and straight to the title. If we are to get a teaser, it should be a proper teaser. And I don't want it in the Hobbit because that's too early.

I cannot stress enough how much I do not want to see a teaser this year, I think that would be a terrible mistake marketing wise. It's not coming out in 2015 so it's pointless to release it this year. Over marketing this film and making people sick of it months before it comes out is just a bad idea.

I'm not saying the trailer should be all Terrence Malicky like Man of Steel's but I'd like something more interesting than a stare down from our two protagonists. WB should do something interesting and unexpected.
