Reporter: What's your prediction for the fight, Superman?

Superman: My prediction? ...PAIN.

Reporter: And you, Batman? What do you have to say?

Batman: If he dies... He dies.

My favorite type of people are the ones who set the bar so low for themselves that when they're being rude and obnoxious they can say "that was me being nice".
Certainly my favorite type of people aren't ones who come in here and whine about how WB/DC aren't doing everything exactly how Marvel does things.

I think some people fail to realize just how large the casts for these type of films typically are.

I mean, all of these superhero films are ensemble films to begin with, often having a sizeable amount of core and supporting characters. Beyond that, in a 2 and a half movie with a large scope, there is more than ample room for dozens of other side characters to make appearances, have lines, and even appear in more than one scene to play a small role in the story or have an impact.

Think about a film like The Dark Knight and the amount of characters that appeared.

Bruce/Batmam
The Joker
Alfred
Rachel
Harvey Dent
Gordon
Lucius
Mayor
Loeb
Maroni
Gambol
The Chechen
Scarecrow
Wuertz
Ramirez
The other fat cop who let the Joker overpower him
Lau
Gordon's wife
Gordon's son
Annoying SWAT truck passenger
Crazy Joker goon with Rachel's name tag

I mean, this is just off the top of my head, but all of those characters either played major roles, small roles, or made brief appearances. Most of the 20+ characters I named were actually essential in advancing the story along.

My point is that it is FAR from unnatural for a film like this to have a huge cast, and so far, this cast doesn't really seem to be all that huge. Frankly , I'm surprised anyone's even bugging about it, since Cyborg's role has all but been officially confirmed as a cameo and Mamoa's is likely the same -- a brief appearance.

Seriously? Is this how you live your life? All I did was say that I thought it was interesting to not hear from the director since it seems to be becoming the norm... Sorry for voicing my thoughts =[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[ Plz stop yelling at me oh reasonable one

Not sure where the subject fits (or what everyone is fighting about ATM) but can I just say that I hope:

A) we get a teaser this month and

B) it's well balanced with Superman and Batman and not only aBatman-centric

If we don't hear any news by Wednesday ie teaser in front of The Hobbit rule it out definitely.

You are the one who brought up the disagreement again sir.

Because you were pretty much voicing my same opinion, I had just provided recent examples and you decided that I was some Marvel shill. I've never even posted on a Marvel board.

A) Probably won't happen

B) it will be Lex centric

You have reading comprehension issues if you believe that our posts were saying the same thing.

It contradicts what Jeremy Irons said about his role as Alfred

If true (BIG IF MIND YOU), could the assumption be made that Jena Malone is playing Barbara?

As much as I don't buy into anything Fartcheese says, that rumor really wouldn't shock me considering the lack of casting regarding that character. Doesn't that go against what Irons recently said as well?

I don't think it's that farfetched that Batman puts the team together.

“He is quite a different Alfred than we have seen so far. Zack Snyder had very clear views about what he wanted… I would just say he’s more hands-on perhaps than just a butler.”

Just because there is no
Gordon
in this film doesn't mean he's dead. How often did he appear in the Justice League cartoon?
