So there's no Gordon in this film and Alfred has a small role. Yet all of Superman's supporting cast is there...seems like this movie may be more Superman centric

So why are people's jimmies being rustled even after production has just wrapped?

Irons thinks his Alfred is more hands on than just a butler. Well Nolan's Alfred was just that, more hands-on than just a butler. That's why Michael Caine took the role.

I would love to see a couple of flashback scenes with
a new Gordon, showing his death at the hands of Joker (if this rumor is true). Cranston would be perfect casting on Ben's part. Bryan would be able to really sell an emotional and scary death scene, in just a limited role.

Also, Faraci says something that i was talking about a couple days ago. That Batman would put the team together. Im sure Superman gets killed by Doomsday at the end, Bats creates the Justice League more or less in his honor. Then Supes returns in Justice League. Lex will succeed at the end. He'll hold his head up high, on his way up the political ladder, right into the Suicide Squad movie. He'll form a team with Joker/Harley Quinn, taking them (or at least Harley) away from the Squad. He will lead his Legion against Batman's League, thinking it'll be a piece of cake. Little does he know, Superman is not quite dead.

Batfleck being the leader of the JL is fiiiiine by me. But my heart belongs to Batman.

I can't blame the Supe fans for hating this. Oh lawd.

That why you don't mind Mrs. Fleck horning in on your Capital One turf?

Correctomundo!

This is how I think WB and Affleck both get what they want. He may be in the solo films, but that doesn't mean he HAS TO be the lead in them.

He ain't that young.

Younger than old ass RDJ. :oldrazz:

This doesn't make sense to me, but, I have not had my mid day smoke.

Didn't he say he had the "concrete" scoop that Affleck was 55 in BvS and had been fighting in Gotham for like 30 years a couple months back? lol

Only for one of the producers of the film to basically debunk it like a few days later haha.

Or, more likely, Supes tries to create the JL but Batman is wary of such powerful beings, and ruins the plans. Only Supes dies honorably and Bats changes his mind. This would satisfy Supes and Bats fans. They'd both have a hand in creating the JL.

And Lex ain't succeeding. He might not go to jail but the villain isn't winning a film subtitled Dawn of Justice.

The more I think about it, the more I think if superman dies, he'll com back at the end of the film, and be the dawn of justice for when the others are struggling with the evil of Lex and whatever secondary villain is present.

Lex will then need to start the legion in SS. As revenge. Maybe he'll be in jail? Anyway, SS is the film where the villain might win. But not DOJ.

RDJ doesn't have to wear a suit anymore. Big difference.

I literally just had a smoke in real time... no joke. I still don't what you mean.

When Batfleck gets his solo, he will be the lead. I could see someone else taking the mantle after he is done with it and in that same universe, but WB want their boy for awhile. Regardless of his age.

The last couple of pages should be left to rot down into rich fertiliser.

Supe fans are quiet. :oldrazz:

Eh... I'm wait and see. At this point, I'm even open to a "downer" ending to BVS. We know crap all at this point, so saying it definitely will or won't happen is in cart before horse territory for me, Sam (may I call you Sam?).

Possibly. But i disagree when you say they can't make Lex win with a title like "Dawn of Justice". Lex could win this battle but lose the war in Justice League. Luthor's temporary victory over Superman could be the exact thing that inspires Batman to create the Justice League. Lex's actions = the Dawn of Justice. The final scene will be a positive one because it will most likely end with the formation of the League, standing together. Whether that's with or without Superman, we don't know.

It also resembles the plot for the fake script.

Oh lawd.
